Hey guys! So a quick intro...
I started to wear makeup when I was in secondary school. I had developed acne and that’s when I discovered foundation! It had covered all my imperfections and made me feel more confident & comfortable. Since then I have loved make up whether it be drugstore or high end. I’m always trying out new products so I decided to join glamgeek to share my thoughts ^_^
I use this cleaner once a week to exfoliate my skin and decongest. I have seen a huge difference in my skin, this gets rid of/lightens my scars from spots & blemishes. It doesn’t have a fragrance however smells like chemicals but it’s not over powering, it’s a mild smell. The glycolic acid really helps to bring life back to my skin leaving it smooth & brighter. This doesn’t leave the skin dry after using which is amazing.
This is the BEST drying lotion out there. I used this when I’m breaking out during that time of the month. I use this at night before I go to sleep with a cotton bud, I cover the whole spot/blemish & it will dry out the spot & make it smaller. I have gone through so many bottles of this & will never use anything else! Highly recommend!!
This was one of my go to foundations in college. This comes in SO many different shades with a various undertones. The texture is moussey & fluffy which is interesting. It gives a solid medium coverage & is buildable. I apply this with an ELF brush, I’ve used it with a sponge however it seemed like I was blending forever as it didn’t set the way I wanted it to. The only downside to this is that it transfers really quickly even after setting which is why I’ll give this 4/5 stars.
This palette is great for beginners and all the shadows are beautiful. I have used this to a wedding and stayed put all day using the Mac paint pot in painterly as an eyeshadow primer. They are pigmented, little to no fall out and beautiful shades. Highly recommend!
I bought this foundation as it was supposedly a dupe/same company for the cover girl 3 in 1 which is only available in the US so I decided to give this a go. The foundation applies much lighter than in the bottle then oxidises into its normal shade. It’s easy to apply with a brush or sponge. The coverage is perfect however one downside to this is that is transfers very quickly even after setting this with my Laura Mercier powder. Other than that it’s good.
I have been using this exfoliator for 5 years & it’s amazing. I have tried a lot of different ones & always go back to this. It does the job leaving the skin smooth & makes my foundation look really smooth as well. It’s not harsh on the skin & smells really good. I use this once a week or once in 2 weeks depending on how my skin is feeling. After using this the skin can feel a bit dry as the natural oils have been stripped however I use an oil after this to bring the moisture back into my skin before putting on make up.
This the best for eyebrows & lasts all day long. It’s very very pigmented & you only need a tiny bit to fill the brows. I use the shade “medium brown”. There are a lot of shades to choose from. The brush I use with this is the Morphe M165 angle liner & brow brush. These 2 go hand in hand creating very precise brush strokes & clean lines! Highly recommend!
I have used the MUA scream blushers for 3 years now & they are amazing. They have a lot of shades from dark pinks to light pinks to nudes. I use this with a damp beauty sponge & it applies very easily. I use this on top of my foundation & it leaves a nice sheen to the skin. It lasts all day long I don’t need to touch up throughout the day. For just £1 it’s a steal! Highly recommend
These lipsticks do not dry out the lips, I love the dewy/shiny look & the shades are amazing. I love the nude shades for everyday. They lasts all day with touch ups & doesn’t feel dry on the lips. Maybelline lipsticks never disappoint they’re all amazing!
