This was the first Juvia's Place palette I bought, and I love it! It is my go to every day palette and the metallic shades are out of this world! The mattes blend seamlessly and build up exactly how I would want them to. The metallic shades have amazing staying power, and I feel like they almost look better throughout the day. I wish there was a mirror in the palette (particularly since its £30) but I think it is 100% worth the money considering the quality. I'd recommend particularly if you like every day neutral shades, but keep in mind this isn't as punchy as the Nubian 2 palette since it imore...s a different formula.
I loved how this calmed my skin down after using a pretty harsh cleanser, and it definitely removed excess oil without making my face feel dry, I'd recommend the full size of this (such a bargain too) but avoid the travel size one. The packaging for the mini is terrible and makes it hard to get product out! would 100% recommend, and I think I prefer it to my Garnier Green Tea toner
I like this brush for smudging shadow under my lower lash line, but I have some difficulty in blending it out with this brush. I feel like a pencil brush would be better (but I don't have one!) It is a very well made brush, doesn't feel cheap, hasn't frayed after numerous washes etc, but it's not necessarily a staple must have. I also use it if I'm using eyeshadow as an eyeliner, but the Body Shop lip and concealer brush can also do this. If I lost this brush I'd be sad, but I wouldn't buy this one, I'd try a pencil brush instead. But, if you are in the market for this shaped brush, this is a more...very good quality one.
This did spread foundation around my face, but that's about it. There were so many streak marks in my foundation and it make my foundation sit on top my skin funny. It was surprisingly difficult to clean the brush even with an oil based makeup remover, foundation would not come out of it! Had a little bit of an issue with shedding, but definitely nowhere near as bad as French Connection brushes! I'd recommend a buffer brush for foundation over a flat brush, particularly Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. This one is a pass for me
When I first bought this brush I didn't get the point of it, it was terrible for blending concealer and made lip products look streaky. However, since getting into half cut creases and glitter this brush is now a must have! It is synthetic and super thin a the end, so makes cutting the crease dead easy. It's crazy how precise this brush can be. I love how it is a little stiff, as it makes packing on glitter or foiled shadows so much easier. Also has survived frequent washing without ruining the precision of the tip. 100% recommend if you need something to pack on foiled or glitter shades, but more...I wouldn't use it as a lip or concealer brush!
I don't understand how so many people love this! The applicator is completely wrong for me. It is so difficult to get a precise line as the applicator is solid and not tapered enough for me! I'm sure with enough practice you could get a decent line, but it would be waaayyy to thick for me, I like a thin liner that hugs the lash line. I found that the formula cracked a little and would take a couple coats to cover, which in turn would take ages to dry. Also, because the applicator is so stiff it kind of wipes away product in the centre of the line (if that makes any sense!) It wasn't as pigmenmore...ted as my Rimmel Glam Eyes which is my go to. I wouldn't recommend this, but I could see how it could work for people who want a thick liner look and have more patience than me.
I had heard that this was a dupe (formula wise) for the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks, and while there are similarities they are not a dupe. The JSC tubes are a little heavier, but other than that (and the different colour lids) the tubes are identical- even down to the chair shaped doe foot applicator. The Wet n Wild formula is drier than the JSC ones, but they are by far the most comfortable than any other affordable liquid lipstick formula I have tried. I found that the shade Behind the Bleachers needed two coats for an even coverage, but it didn't patch off during the day. It did wmore...ear off around the inner rim of the lip without eating or drinking which doesn't happen with the JSC ones, and they didn't last though a meal. Overall I would recommend if you were looking for an affordable liquid lip as they are the best I have come across, however if you can afford to spurge a little on JSC I would 100% recommend that!
I have the Regeneration palette and overall I liked it because it has a nice selection of colours, most of which perform well. Several of the shades look identical, like 'Spellbind' and 'Trance' are very similar pinks, 'Delusion', 'Delusion' and 'Fulfilled' all look like the same warm mid toned brown. I also found that some of the shades, particularly 'Mesmerised' look completely different in the pan than they do on the eye, but it was still pretty. The two shimmer shades are terrible, they swatch nicely but none of the pigment or shine translates onto the eye. I didn't have too much falloutmore... underneath the eye, but a lot collected on the inner corner and the side of my nose which was annoying. The pigments lasts really well during the day, but they do take a little longer than other formulas to blend out. The shade 'Euphoric' is my favourite as it blends well, isn't patchy and is completely unique to my collection! I would recommend this if you wanted to try new colours without breaking the bank. However, if you know you like these colours, I'd invest in a higher end palette which would blend better and have better shimmer shades(like Juvia's Place, which I have recently fallen in love with!) Overall not a bad palette, but not my favourite
This brush is definitely good quality, but I found it was too dense for my face powder. I prefer a fluffier brush to dust powder on my face, and I'd use a sponge to pack on powder if I wanted heavier coverage. This is an odd combination of the two as when you put on powder it moves my foundation around and puts too much in one area. I found that it was a nightmare to clean compared to my other brushes, but it didn't have any sheading. I wouldn't recommend this brush, it didn't work out for me
