I chose the peach colour with the hope of making my naturally blonde hair have a peachy hue. I didn't expect the colour to take to my roots but I thought it would take to the ends to give almost a balayage kinda effect. The instructions on the packet don't work! I followed the instructions to the T and literally nothing happened! I then tried again on dry hair and left it on for 2 hours and it did dye the ends a little, but no where near as much as promised. It was very easy to apply and didn't damage my hair too much, but the lack of effect made it a waste of money! Maybe the darker shades womore...uld work better, but I don't want to waste more money on this product
I bought the shade Blushing Brown, and I liked that the formula glided on without tugging. However, an hour into wear it started to gather at my lip line. By the fourth hour it has clung to dry patches I didn't know I had and the colour patched off and looks terrible without eating or drinking. The formula was still creamy enough that you could rub your lips together and it would mostly spread back out, but I know I would never reach for this formula over Maybelline or Mac. I've used this three times now and I've had the same experience every time. It does work better with a lip liner, but thmore...e cost of this lipstick and a matching lip liner isn't worth it when you could buy a Maybelline lipstick for roughly the same price (if not cheaper). I wouldn't recommend this and I'll probably pass it on to a flat mate
The first time I used this mascara I was SHOCKED at how amazing my lashes looked. It 100% looked like I was wearing fake lashes! It did clump a little, but I think the before and after pictures above give an accurate representation of what this mascara can do. There isn't any flaking or smudging throughout the day, but it is a little tough to get off. My main issue is that while my lashes looked phenomenal for about a week, it's wow factor quickly died down and ended up looking like most of my other super volumizing mascaras. The Essence Lash Princess mascara looks pretty similar to Badgal Banmore...g, and for the price difference (£3.90 vs £22) I would choose Essence. However, I would repurchase Badgal in those mini Christmas sets since you get such a great deal in them!
I was devastated that this didn't work for me! I didn't think pineapple and mint would work together but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. However, This gave me one of the worst reactions I have ever had with a make up product. I rarely have any sensitivity with make up products, and I've never had an issue with any other lip product. This made my lip line swell and have these itchy bumps and blisters all around my mouth! It took about a week for it to completely heal, but during that week I looked like I had botched lip fillers. It's put me off the brand, which is a shame smore...ince their other balms have rave reviews. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this! I'll pass the one I have along to someone else and update you in the comments of how they got on with it
For year I have sworn by my Khiel's lip balm, but this may have just replaced it! This stuff is crazy thick, to the point where it can be difficult to squeeze it out of the tube. However, it is so thick on application that it does not budge! I put it on at night and I can still feel it by morning. It is super moisturising and has really helped with protecting and healing my dry lips during the cold weather. It is expensive for a lip balm but it is 100% worth it. I'm in love!
I have the shade Bell Air and it is my perfect nude. It feels very moussey and lightweight upon first application and also takes a little while to dry down. But these are so comfortable! It didn't flake at all, exaggerate lines on my lips or wear funny throughout the day. I think these are the least drying liquid lipsticks I own (including JSC). I love the revamped packaging (its now in a white square tube) and would 100% recommend.
I got a free sample of this (thanks @amestars!) and have used it in the evenings for 4 days. while I can't see any long term effects, in the short term I noticed very little difference. My skin broke out and didn't look as healthy as when I use my Freederm overnight clearing serum. I didn't notice my skin looking any less fatigued than usual, but it did seem a little more hydrated. To be honest I have masks and moisturisers that do a better job at hydrating for only a fraction of the price. The consistency was a lot runner than I anticipated and also had this almost vinegary scent to it. Ovemore...rall I wouldn't recommend, but if you did want to try it definitely get a sample first.
I picked this up for a fiver at TK Maxx and I'm surprised at how much I love it! I was sceptical of the weird applicator, but it is amazing at getting a crisp line for your upper lip. I have the shade 103 which is a perfect nude pinky/peach colour. I haven't had a gloss that makes my lips look as healthy as this one does! It is quite a thick formula so my hair easily sticks to it, but the gloss lasts throughout the day and wears down without leaving a weird ring on the outside of your lips. I definitely think it's worth the £18 retail price, but finding it for £5 was a bargain!
These are perhaps the worst lip balm I have ever tried! I bought the set of three over Christmas and they are all terrible. The formula is so waxy, it doesn't glide on and tugs so much that you can't get a semi decent lip line. It offers no help protecting from cold weather, repairing chapped lips or moisturising- if anything they dried my lips out more. The shades are terrible because the undertones were so weird, I can't imagine the shades looking good on anyone! The darker/ brighter shades were patchy on application, but after a couple hours wear they all bunched up and patched off even witmore...hout eating or drinking. They have a weird minty medicinal scent to them and feel cold on the lips which I've never experienced from a lip balm before. I cant think of anything positive to say about this, I don't think I could even give these away. Would give it 0/5 if that were possible
I can see why this is so highly rated! It's a beautiful shade with loads of pigment. I love how you can layer this without it going chunky. You can blend this out for super natural glows or build it up to make it blinding. (I can't get it to Ofra levels of blinding, but you can get it more blinding than the Elf baked highlighters) It's not as smoothing as other highlighters I have tried, but I wouldn't say it exaggerates texture. I've used it every day for around 6 weeks and have made a good dent in it, but haven't hit pan! There's so much product that I doubt I'll ever finish it. I think £20more... is a bit steep for any highlighter, but Beauty Bay are always having sales so I'd definitely recommend this if you see it on sale
