Hello! I'm Amy and I am an aspiring Makeup Artist and love all things beauty and skincare! I love writing product reviews and would love to become a YouTube Vlogger. For me, makeup is about having fun and bringing out the person you want to be and have the empowerment and confidence to achieve anything you desire.
✨OMG I simply am amazed by this Eye Gel! The texture is to die for, it massages very well into the skin. It has really helped with my dark circles (which I hate) and keep my eye contours hydrated. It is quite light and doesn’t take ages to absorb, so it can be used AM and PM. I always keep mine in the fridge, as it makes the gel quite dense and the cool helps to reduce puffiness. £6 is simply insane for an amazing product. The only snag is that it quite often isn’t available in store and must be purchased online. My absolute new go to eye product!
✨I bought the mini at £8.50 to try this product without fully committing to the full size bottle at £26. This for me is like a B.B. Cream with lighter coverage, but it can easily be built up. It is perfect for the hotter weather and it does not slip off your face if you have oily skin like me! It is definitely breathable and I don’t feel like I am wearing a full face which is nice. I wouldn’t recommend it for dry skin as it does show any rough patches, but it is a oily/combo skins best friend. I also love the super cute packaging, it makes me smile anyway! Love this Founndation!
✨I really like this fragrance! You can really smell the top notes of bergamot combined with the sandalwood. This is a very refreshing fragrance and smells very clean, perfect for in the day. I’ve knocked it down a star as the scent isn’t very long lasting, but at 13 quid a bottle it’s cheap enough to keep in your handbag and spritz on the go. Great find!
✨Wow this scent is way too strong! It smells very mature and not at all pleasant. There’s too many notes going on at the same time and I can’t tell what the main scent is. Even though it’s £13, don’t waste your money, it’s horrible!
✨When I first smelt this, I was a bit off put, as it the scent is a bit grim. However, when it starts to settle it smells quite pleasant. I really love the bergamot combined with the citrus. The only problem is that it is not at all long lasted and soon faded into nothingness. Didn’t get the poppy from it? Wouldn’t buy again as although it is a good price, when it fades away you have to keep re spraying, soon emptying the bottle.
✨Only one word for this mascara - terrible. The only thing going for it is the pigment, which is really black. Apart from that, there is nothing else. I find it clumps my lashes together without adding any real volume and it doesn’t provide any lengthening benefits either. My lashes look really spidery and not pretty at all. I think they should look to discontinue this and Bad Gal Bang and Rollerlash are really good! I’ve even tried it with a lash primer and still no joy. Not for me unfortunately!
✨The packaging is an absolute spitting image of Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment! The shades are really pigmented and glide on beautifully onto the lips. It stands up to the test of the day and I actually didn’t need to reapply it until after lunch. They are slightly drying but I don’t mind this due to them being budge proof. There is an amazing range of shades and one to suit everybody (I’ll take one in every colour please...) and the best thing is they are only £4... great drugstore product! It is definitely a dupe for Nars - £19 cheaper and much better results!
✨First of all, it is SUPER pigmented and definitely matte! I love the way it is a true matte lip, with absolutely zero dryness. However, I hate the way it bleeds, which gives a really uneven lip shape, even with Lip Liner. It is definitely not smudge or budge proof and at one point it was all over my chin and cheek! (Granted I am a face toucher, but none of my other lippies do this). The price tag of £23 is totally not worth it when Revolution Pro does brilliant dupe for £4!
✨This Facial Oil though...! It is so lightweight it is an absolute treat to wear under makeup. I love the fact it has anti oxidant properties as I work with money and computers all day and all of the UV and pollutants are really bad for your skin. It absorbs really quickly and your makeup can be applied straightaway. I use this during the day as it is not as heavy as other Facial Oils. It has really improved the texture of my skin as it is a lot more smooth and bouncy. It doesn’t make my combo skin oilier and spottier, which is always a concern with Facial Oils. I just wish it wasn’t 75 quid!
