I'm a makeup enthusiast, I don't think I have ever been so passionate about anything else over the last year. Focusing on Makeup/Skincare has helped me to get through those mind-numbing days, something I actually look forward to talking about and experimenting with every day!
Some of my favourite brands (there are too many to think of) include:
Jeffree Star Cosmetics,
Anastasia Beverly Hill's,
House of Lashes.
One day, I would love to be able to be a full-time blogger, this is my ambition and I am proud that it is, I can't explain how much it means to me.
I got this for free as part of a bundle at Superdrug. It's pigmented enough to be a handy transition shade palette but that's about all. Nothing really wow'd me about it. There are many other neutral palettes out there, even from Revolution that are much better quality. Let's just say I'm glad it was free.
I purchased this a while ago and initially hated it. The smell is disgusting, a very chemical smell. As I had no other choice of foundation to switch back to at the time, regardless of my mum saying if it smells like that, why would you put it on your face? The first few uses were not great, for some reason it would separate throughout the day. After trying multiple primers it finally worked with the Revolution Pore Blur Primer! Using a beauty sponge, the foundation finally worked out, full coverage, evenly applied and longer lasting than before. I will be getting another shade of this, slightmore...ly lighter as the one I have already does oxidise slightly. Overall I have decided that I love this foundation for the price point but the chemical needs to go as it is seriously off putting.
I was really excited to try this BB cream out. I tend to sway more towards full coverage foundations but I'm always on the look out for something more natural when I am working. Unfortunately this shade really wasn't for me, it had an orange hue to it and I am quite pale. I love the fact that it contains hyuluronic acid and it did leave my skin feeling great but unfortunately I have to wear a white shirt and my hair up for work so I can't even blend it into my neck without it going all over my blouse. I would happily try this again with a paler shade!
To begin with, a brand that is cruelty free! What is not to love?
I adore how long lasting this mascara is, it doesn't clump and it's excellent for those long work or college days as it doesn't budge or leave them feeling dry and brittle . I personally prefer bigger brushes but I was pleasently suprised at the length I managed to achieve, this was more like what I would expect with a larger brush. The black is beautifully opaque which is perfect as I always want my lashes to appear black rather than brown. I think as an every day mascara, this is perfect for what I am trying to achieve. Now Imore... will no longer feel need to wear subtle false lashes during the day as much as I did before!
One of the best liners I've had that isn't liquid!
This is the first liner I have tried that isn't liquid, that actually lasts all day! The pigmentation is incredible. It took me a while to figure out how to get the sharpener, I was so worried it would break with all of the force but it was fine. The sharpener itself is brilliant! Having a sharp liner really takes most of the effort away and it's helps to keep the line very precise. I would recommend if you're looking for something that performs and lasts!
When I first saw this announced, I wasn't sure about the colour story. As I purchase every JSC eyeshadow palette, I still decided to give it a go regardless of my initial thoughts. *SURPRISE* this is by far my favourite JSC palette to date and it's all because of the exceptional shade 'Alien'. 'Alien' is unlike any other shade I own, it's a beautiful metallic lime green (an old and recently revived favourite colour of mine) and it performs beautifully with a huge lack of fall out! I can't even describe how many comments I get whilst wearing it. I've even had strangers approach me to ask what pmore...alette it was from. There is a great selection of transition shades which include, 'Titan', 'Gravitea' and 'Phone Home'. I adore most of the names for the shades, one of my favourites being dedicated to the 'X-files'. From a storage point of view, I wasn't a big fan of the different shape palette but in person, I still fell in love with it. The mirror is huge but I've found that I have to prop it in front of something to hold it up as it is difficult to hold with one hand whilst applying my makeup. If you are looking for something a little different that performs exceptionally then I would recommend!
