I'm a makeup enthusiast, I don't think I have ever been so passionate about anything else over the last year. Focusing on Makeup/Skincare has helped me to get through those mind-numbing days, something I actually look forward to talking about and experimenting with every day!
Some of my favourite brands (there are too many to think of) include:
Jeffree Star Cosmetics,
Anastasia Beverly Hill's,
House of Lashes.
One day, I would love to be able to be a full-time blogger, this is my ambition and I am proud that it is, I can't explain how much it means to me.
I have been working some LONG hours recently. With the current weather situation, my makeup had been melting within a couple of hours. I decided to do something about it and purchased the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray! I would definitely recommend! My makeup now lasts for at least 6 hours without any problems which, in this heat, I find to be pretty impressive! I can't wait to see how long it lasts when the weather changes again. For an added bonus, I would recommend keeping it in the fridge for a refreshing top up throughout the day. Even for the high price, it's worth every penny!
The scent of this is gorgeous! I still prefer the Imperial Leather Cherry Bakewell shower gel overall but it makes me hungry. This doesn't leave me craving cherry bakewell's but it does leave my skin with a sweet scent and feeling hydrated. Most importantly, I'm left feeling clean. I think for the price, these are definitely worth trying!
(I'm getting ready for work, excuse the dressing gown & messy hair 😂) I thought I would show one eyebrow done and one not with the Kat Von D Brow Struck Dimension Powder! I'm rubbish at brows but I love this stuff! 😍
This was recommended to me by my hairdresser a few years ago, I just forget to use it as often as I would like. It's great, I don't need to use too much (my hair easily becomes oily) so a bottle still lasts me forever! I usually apply it while my hair is still wet. When it's dry it feels fantastic and looks so much healthier. It's also handy to use very lightly to control flyaways. I would recommend this mainly because a bottle can last a while.
This is the first Original Source shower product I have tried (I've heard so many people mention these) and I have to say, I'm impressed! The scent is gorgeous and apparently all natural which is a bonus! It also leaves my skin feeling refreshed, soft and hydrated after my showers. I will definitely be trying more from this range as the price is too good not to. I can't wait to try more from the variety that Original Source has to offer! I would definitely recommend!
This was a sample from a magazine. I didn't want to waste it (I wasn't originally in a rush to use it) and hadn't tried anything like this before so I thought, why not? I'm absolutely in love with it! I was a bit concerned that I had to leave it in my hair (I'm used to having to wash products that are similar out). I followed the instructions and after it dried and I brushed it, it felt incredible, it was seriously soft! I noticed a visible difference, I still have split ends but they appear slightly reduced (bear in mind my hair is seriously damaged). For such a great price I WILL be buying!
I purchased this a while ago, I was in need of a brow brush for pomades and this was the only one I could find in the shops locally. I love every other Spectrum brush I have but this one was lacking. It's not bad and it does do the job but I found that it was too thick, I could barely create "hair" like strokes so it did create a LOT of extra work. It isn't as precise as I was looking for. I will hopeully be purchasing the Kat Von D No.70 pomade brush (the No.75 brush is fantastic) soon as these brushes appear to be a lot thinner for more precise application. I wouldn't recommend this overall.
On the first application, I thought this liner was pretty good, it was pigmented and as usual with felt liners, it was easier to apply with precision. I don't know what it is with felt liners but they dry up far too quickly, by the second application it was struggling to perform as well. If it lasted longer it would have had probably four stars. The packaging is great, it looks quite luxurious, unfortunately, that is the only good thing I can say about it after the second application.
I love this brush! It obviously works perfectly with the Kat Von D Brow Powder. I love the unusual shape of it, it helps to create "hair" like strokes while still keeping its precision, like standard (but good) brow brushes. One thing I will say is it feels like the handle could be quite fragile because it's so thin, I just don't throw it in my brush bag with everything else. It may just be me being paranoid but I would be devastated if it snapped. I would definitely recommend buying this with the brow powder itself. I have some serious love for the two together! I couldn't recommend more.
This is my all-time favourite brow product and I do usually struggle to do anything with my brows without having to make a HUGE effort. I have never tried a brow powder before and I find this so much easier to use than any pencil or pomade I have previously tried. I apply it with the Kat Von D No.75 brush and they work together beautifully. The powder doesn't budge at all throughout the day and it really makes a difference to the appearance of them. I've been using this so much recently that it doesn't take me long at all to do my brows in the morning. I will definitely 100% get this again!
