I'm a makeup enthusiast, I don't think I have ever been so passionate about anything else over the last year. Focusing on Makeup/Skincare has helped me to get through those mind-numbing days, something I actually look forward to talking about and experimenting with every day!
Some of my favourite brands (there are too many to think of) include:
Jeffree Star Cosmetics,
Anastasia Beverly Hill's,
House of Lashes.
One day, I would love to be able to be a full-time blogger, this is my ambition and I am proud that it is, I can't explain how much it means to me.
I had a sample of this a while ago and thought it was fantastic. When I used it I was definitely left feeling relaxed yet more refreshed overall. I left it at my mums and she claimed it, I didn't mind as I prefer using it in baths rather than in the shower and I'm more of a shower kind of person. She loves it more than me! She has asked for more for christmas. The best part about it all is that the 9ml sample bottle has lasted forever as only a tiny amount is required. So the 55ml bottle I am getting her for christmas (a different scent) will probably last for a year or so ready for next chrismore...tmas! Definitely gift worthy!
I used to be soap ans glory mad! I liked this exfoliator, it left my skin feeling clean and soft (it really cleaned out my pores) which is great in my books. The scent is definitely refreshing! I've marked it down a star because there are more affordable alternatives out there that work just as well, maybe even better. But it is still a great exfoliator that gets the job done!
They've done it again! My favourite of course is still the cherry bakewell shower gel but this one is up there! The scent almost reminds me of chewits, it's fruity! It definitely leaves a pleasent scent to the skin after using and most importantly it lathers up well and I'm left feeling clean! I'm hoping it returns next summer!
I am JSC mad! I buy every palette that he brings out. I would still say that the Blood Sugar and Androgyny are at the top of my list so far but the glitter shades in this one are to die for! I'm always up for a blue and yellow shadow too so this was a great buy! I did find that there is a lot of fall out with the glitter shades, literally glitter all over my face, but with a lot of work (which is worth it) they really are something special! The shade 'Parched' is a great base shadow for setting. The whole top row is perfect for a more natural look. The middle row is the special one, all glittemore...r shadows! 'Snatched' is my personal favourite because it is basically a rose gold which to me is a classic. On the bottom row my favourites are 'Quench' a yellow, not as pigmented as I hoped but it's possible to work with, 'Submerge' a beautiful blue, again it needs a bit of building up and 'Spash' an aqua green. If you love glitter and are a JSC fan then I would recommened. This isn't at the top of my palette favourites but to me the glitter shadows made this worth getting. (Next up, the Alien palette which has just been dispatched!)
I have always struggled with bronzers because my skintone is very fair. For this reason I have never owned an actual bronzing brush. After finding a bronzer that I could finally work with, I purchased this brush. It is extremely soft to the touch which I love! Even though it appears to pick up a lot of product, a gentle tap sorts this out and it evenly distributes the bronzer to the desired areas. I am extremely happy that this was the first bronzing brush I purchased because it's definitely a keeper! I would recommend this!
I purchased this a while ago and I am finally near the end of the bottle. I love the glass packaging and the doe foot applicator, but that's about it. I didn't find that this foundation had enough coverage for me, paired with the shape tape concealer, I made it just about work. I found that within a couple of hours, my foundation was pretty non existant. Changing my poweder from RCMA to Beauty Bakerie did help a little. If Tarte were to release a full coverage version I would still give it a go.
Being pale can be a nightmare when it comes to bronzers, this has been a struggle of mine for so long. Somebody recommended a Kiko bronzer to me so I purchased this one. To begin with, it weirdly has a chocolate scent, which is quite pleasing but I don't really want to be inhaling the stuff overall. I have to say, even though it looks intimidating in the pan, it's does not apply as opaque as it first appears. It's buildable so it's possible to apply it without it looking orange and muddy. It gives me enough colour so my makeup no longer looks flat and so I don't look washed out. If you are strmore...uggling to find a bronzer suitable for paler skin tones then I would definitely recommend giving this one a try. This is now a part of my daily makeup routine!
