I really think these brushes are great. They give a great finish and are really adaptable for whatever use you want. I would suggest these as a first time brush set for people. The only downfall is they aren't very durable and I found they didn't last me very long and I had to replace them a couple of times. It is worth investing in the Brush shampoo from this range as it is amazing and elongates the life of the product

I am in my late teens/early 20's with normal, olive tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is medium brown, normal with normal texture.
I bought these as my very first set of brushes, they're amazing. The quality is great, there's no shedding, they blend products really well, and don't irritate my skin. And I found it was cheaper to buy them in the Core Collection than it was separately! Love!

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, tanned tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is dark brown, combination with normal texture.
My son bought me this set for Mother's Day :) I can see what all the fuss is about - the brushes are lovely and soft and ensure that make-up application is easier. I haven't used the fine detailer yet and the foundation brush is on the small side but I have been using the other brushes daily and am very happy with them. But I am nervous about their longevity after my disastrous experience with the Real Techniques blotting sponges.

Love these brushes, very soft but maybe a little overpriced for only 4 brushes, great if you are just starting out with cosmetics - a collection is incomplete without these!!!

I think that this set is good however I have found myself not needing to use 2 of the brushes, the pointed foundation and detailer brush.in my opinion the pointed foundation brush is far too small to cover my whole face. I occasionally use it to start blending my concealer but I then always have to finish the process with my fingers. The buffer brush however is amazing and I use it almost every day . The contour brush is also very good however I don't us it very often. Personally I would only recommend purchasing the buffer brush . However for four brushes this set is good value

I researched make up brushes recently and this collection got good reviews. I made the purchase and am thrilled. Each and every one of the brushes works well and they are very soft on the skin.I have bought others from the brand to top up. I am now buying them for friends as their birthdays come round!

I am in my late 40's/early 50's with combination, light tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is blonde, processed with normal texture.
Real techniques have amazed me again with the quality of their brushes. Presented in a great little case including a brush for Contour, foundation, detail and buffing. The contour brush has replaced my E.l.f highlighting brush! The pointed foundation brush is small but great for getting into more awkward areas around the nose and near eyes/eyebrows due to it being pointed (Works great with concealer). The detailer brush is great for highlighting under the eyebrows and inner corners of the eye because of it's perfect size. The buffing brush works beautifully with my translucent powder. 100%
