I really love how creamy this lipstick is - so comfortable to wear. As another reviewer said, the pigmentation is great on first application, but it doesn’t last!
This is unfortunately what I’ve been discovering with natural lipsticks - they feel lovely to wear but they just don’t have the pigmentation or staying power of other lipsticks.
This stuff is gorgeous!
Really soft and silky and not at all greasy. It completely soaks in overnight so you wake up with plump, moisturised lips. It’s ideal if you have cracked lips as it really helps to heal them over night.
Comes with a tiny spatula for hygiene too.
I wear this in the day too as it’s the best lip balm ever.
This is my second Inika makeup item that I’ve received from a beauty box and my first thought is ‘glad I didn’t pay for it!’
The lipstick is nice enough but has weak pigmentation and is really not very long-lasting.
They do feel really nice and creamy on the lips and I can feel that it conditions my lips for the short amount of time it stays on!
I’m in two minds about this cleanser as it has pros and cons.
It’s a lovely balm cleanser which emulsifies really nicely when you add water. The Squalane makes it really gentle on your skin and doesn’t leave your skin dry after use.
It is suitable for use on the eyes but I didn’t find that it removed my mascara fully and had to use a separate makeup remover for that. Also, sometimes it didn’t irritate my eyes at all and some times it really stung - so I can’t work that out!
It’s great value for money but it does only have a 6 month shelf life.
This would be fine if it were the only cleanser onmore... my shelf but I have quite a few that I like to rotate through - so I needed to remember that this one would go off quicker than others.
So yes, it works fine as a first cleanser but it’s definitely a no-frills experience. It’s unscented and a bit boring!
I like it but I don’t love it!
The Snow Mushroom is the first product I’ve bought from The Inkey List but it definitely won’t be my last!
I wanted to try this after using another product that had Snow Mushroom in the ingredients as I found it so hydrating. Snow Mushroom is a natural alternative to Hyaluronic Acid and actually penetrates deeper than HA so is more effective.
Also, I found that a lot of HA products can make my facial oils pill on my skin and I can’t be without my facial oil!!
This product doesn’t make oil- based products pill AND is much more hydrating than HA so is an absolute win for me!
It does say that it’more...s a moisturiser but even though I don’t have particularly dry skin, it’s not enough as a moisturiser on its own, so I use it as a hydrating serum as well as using a separate moisturiser.
I’m in two minds about this lip glaze.
The positives are it’s natural ingredients, the colour range and the natural looking shine.
But the negatives are that it’s slightly runny in consistency and applies a bit patchily.
I have the shade ‘Rosewood’ - which swatches as a nice rose-nude but shows up more pink on the lips. I really like the shimmery hint to it too.
It’s really comfortable to wear but isn’t particularly long lasting.
I bought this after I finished The Ordinary Caffeine eye serum and I actually think I prefer this one.
It’s less tacky and drying than The Ordinary.
It’s great for hydrating the undereye area and does help your under eye concealer not to cake or exaggerate fine lines. I also find it good at soothing puffiness - especially in the morning.
I haven’t noticed any reduction in dark circles though. I’d buy this again when it runs out mainly for the hydration and because it sits well under makeup.
Love this Natasha Denona blush and glow!
I wish all makeup came in mini form as I very rarely manage to finish a product as I’m always buying something new!
I like that the highlighter is quite subtle and not too blinding - it’s great for an everyday natural glow.
The pink blusher is gorgeous too - again, quite subtle but can be built up.
The packaging is very luxe and is a treat to own .
Really impressed and I now want to try the other Natasha Denona minis.
I didn’t expect much for the price but I liked the nude shades so gave them a go.
I’m pretty blown away how great these are!
The shade range is pretty good - lots of really wearable everyday shades. They’re creamy and non-drying and easy to apply.
They’re not the longest wearing, but they fade uniformly so I’m not too upset about that.
I had this delivered from Cult Beauty during the heatwave and the stick was a melted mashed up mess when I opened it! Cult Beauty were great and refunded straight away though.
I’ve still been using it even though it’s not in stick form anymore!
The product itself is great, lovely pigmentation and easy to blend and build up.
But I think the packaging would have been a problem, even if mine hadn’t melted in the post.
There’s a domed plastic cap directly on top of the stick and I can imagine that the slightest bit of heat would have the cap sticking to the top of the product and smooshing it up!more...
This is the only Milk Makeup product that I’ve bought in their iconic stick form, so I’m wondering if this would be a problem with all of them?
I waited for Milk Makeup to become available in the UK for ages, but after finally getting my hands on some, I was just a tiny bit disappointed and wouldn’t rush to buy anymore.
