I am now on my third pair of GHDs and have been using them religiously since they exploded on the market in the noughties- no longer did I have to rely on using the old iron and towel combo to get that poker straight finish and I became a pro at GHDS curls.
GHDs are reliable and well worth the money as last for ages.
An excellent all round piece of kit for styling

I honestly feel like you cant go wrong with a good ghd straightener , I’ve had mine for ages! There so easy to use and not at all heavy. I use heat protecting mists and sprays in my hair just in case of heat damage but I’ve never had a problem at all ☺️🙌

My hair is thick, coarse and therefore usually entirely unmanageable. Heaven forbid there's a breeze, because it all tangles in to a mess that suggests a bird has tried to nest in it.
I love my GHDs. So much. Admittedly I don't straighten all the time anymore as I worry about damage despite heat protector spray, but it does mean that if I have somewhere to be, I can smooth the madness out to something presentable in a short space of time (just minutes if I blow dry instead of let air dry), and if I want to be super chic, spend more time on it, and voila, smooth, shiny, neat and no hint of the wild bird lady. And my hair remains tame until I wash it. I mean, obviously I don't leave it weeks (blergh), but I bet my hair would still be straight if I did. Totally not putting it to the test though.
I can't believe a) we all existed so long without these miracles and b) it only takes a few seconds to heat up. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to wait longer for hair straighteners to spring to life, and if that was all that set GHDs apart from cheap brands, I'd go cheap all the way. But somehow GHDs are magic. I don't know why they are so amazing, but they really are. I've tried others with ceramic plates, but they are so inferior - just buy the GHDs already :P You won't regret it x

Takes seconds to heat up fully, leaves your hair dead straight and you don't have to keep going over it. Hair stays straight for about 2 or 3 days after depending on your hair. Amazing! Would definitely recommend

I have naturally thick wavy hair so I have always struggled to find a straightener that keeps my hair straight all day. GHD are the only pair that does the trick! I am in love with them and I will never look back. Straightens my hair so easily and lasts all day . Also great for curls too :) . They heat up so easily and just have such a good feel to them.

I’ve had a few issues with my GHD over the years, mainly because of the wiring , they sometimes click on and off 😑 other than that I love them! I have had mine about ten years now and they still work. I highly recommend them they are gentle on my hair and there’s no snapping or tugging of the hair like with some cheaper brands! People always say they are too expensive but they are old now so have been worth every penny

I'm SO happy with Ghd for always providing us with the best styling tools! They're standards never waver, I recommend this for all whom want to buy a styling tool or are considering to try other tool (don't go nowhere! stick to Ghd). I love the fact that's its; sturdy, strong, doesn't sizzle my hair, is gentle and easy to use. Once i'm done using it, I don't have the scent and mist of burnt follicles lingering in the air lol (this is when you know the styling tool has cost you half the length of your locks) . Back in the day they gave away travel pouches and i still have mine to this date. Love it!!!

So I always had short hair so never bothered with straighteners or anything expensive. After growing my hair I received these as a gift and OMG they are fantabulous. They straighten, they wave, they curl and they don’t ruin your hair. Would never use anything else now.

I have three sizes of GHDs and I am hooked. Never have I found anything that straightens my hair and extensions with such ease while maintaining a great shine and healthy feel. Never seems over processed, easy to use and never snag my hair. Great for flicks, curls, bit of volume, you name it. If I could rate them higher I would. Every size plate does something a little different and works in a different way; thin ones are great for fringes, medium for numerous styles and curls and the large ones are perfect for my extensions. GHDs are a girls best friend!

I’m not sure which type of GHDs I have as I’ve had the same ones for 12 years, think I have the original type. Me and my mam received these for Xmas when I was 11 (I’m now 23) and these have lasted the test of time! Yes I don’t use them daily however if an electrical product can last 12 years you know it’s good. Create the smoothest straightest hair or the best loose wavy tight big curls whatever you want. Dreading the day they give up working on me and I have to repurchase new ones! The only device needed to style hair! No such thing as a bad hair day with these! HOLY GRAIL!

I Love this hairstraightners. Straighten once and it lasts until I was it. I have long hair that is thick and wavy..It takes me half the time to straighten my hair. I loved the little travel it came with. I had them 7 years before they died... and they died while I was in Vegas aswell 🤣. Had to dry shampoo it up for 2 days till sometime 😢. Had a back up paid at home... so I'm complete now. 👍

I've had my ghd's for no word of a lie TEN YEARS!! they've never let me down, never broke, not his has needed replaced. Heat up in seconds, straighten my hair with ease. I've tried the Scarlett ones but I felt they were too light on my hair. I really hope mine don't break as nothing compares to them.

✨Over the years I have tried and tested so many Straightening Irons and this has been the only one that has stood the test of time! It straightens your hair beautifully whilst minimising damage to it. A lot of other products I have used have visibly hurt my hair, whereas with this product, people have commented how this damage has been reduced when using for a period of time. I love the fact it has the safety feature of turning off after 30 minutes, especially if you are a clutz like me and forget to turn them off! Lots of other products have broken quickly and I have had this for 5 years!
