I'm a makeup enthusiast, I don't think I have ever been so passionate about anything else over the last year. Focusing on Makeup/Skincare has helped me to get through those mind-numbing days, something I actually look forward to talking about and experimenting with every day!
Some of my favourite brands (there are too many to think of) include:
Jeffree Star Cosmetics,
Anastasia Beverly Hill's,
House of Lashes.
One day, I would love to be able to be a full-time blogger, this is my ambition and I am proud that it is, I can't explain how much it means to me.
Being pale can be a nightmare when it comes to bronzers, this has been a struggle of mine for so long. Somebody recommended a Kiko bronzer to me so I purchased this one. To begin with, it weirdly has a chocolate scent, which is quite pleasing but I don't really want to be inhaling the stuff overall. I have to say, even though it looks intimidating in the pan, it's does not apply as opaque as it first appears. It's buildable so it's possible to apply it without it looking orange and muddy. It gives me enough colour so my makeup no longer looks flat and so I don't look washed out. If you are strmore...uggling to find a bronzer suitable for paler skin tones then I would definitely recommend giving this one a try. This is now a part of my daily makeup routine!
I LOVE this shampoo! It leaves my hair feeling soft and looking great after I've used it. I really struggle with my hair as it is long and it tangles so easily. I've seen and felt a huge improvement with this as I am no longer having to fight for as long with my hair on a daily basis to get knots out. As with the rest of this range the scent is gorgeous! I would recommend if you are having problems with tangles and split ends, it really has helped to improve the issues I was having with my hair!
I love this mascara, I have had some awful ones lately so this was a breath of fresh air! I haven't been wearing lashes as much as I used to as I just don't have the time to sit there applying them. I've been using this mascara for the past two months and it leaves my lashes feeling more full than most of the other mascaras I own. I have come across good mascaras in the past but I usually still get the battle of clumpiness. This one doesn't clump, but it still lengthens and adds the volume I need on those days where I just have no time to apply lashes. I would recommend!
I was and still am a huge fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic, it has been a part of my daily routine for so long. I had to try this one out! I love a rose scent and I find it so relaxing. I have been using this for a week now and my skin is feeling fantastic! I use it after I have double cleansed my face and before moisturising. I have had a lot of stress lately, so my skin has been awful because I've let my routine slip. I can happily say that there is less redness to my skin and overall I am confident enough to apply makeup on top as I lose so much confidence when my makeup isn't able to sit right more...on my skin. This is available in three different sizes so if you are unsure just go for the £5 mini to try it out. I love it and 100% recommend it!
I have had this foundation for so long! When I fist tried it, I hated it. As usual with something I'm not fond of, it went to the back of the pile. Going back to college has taught me not be so wasteful (I didn't even realise I was doing it before) because I'm now earning less and can't just go out and buy something new straight away. After going back to this and trying it out with the Beauty Bakerie baking powder, I grew to love this foundation, used with primer and setting spray as well as the powder, I actually recommend it!
I was after an affordable primer as funds have been low since I decided to go back to college and I had ran out. I am definitely happy with how this primer performs, my makeup lasts longer than it would without a primer (there are still others out there that are much better for this) but it does seem to minamize the appearence of pores quite well. I think for it's price, I would definitely recommend it if you are in need of a primer on those days where you're on a low budget, it's not bad!
So due to many reasons I can't buy much makeup for a long period of time, definitely not higher end. I'm looking for products that are of great quality, long lasting and at a fantastic price (I know, aren't we all?) Any recommendations for setting sprays (just ran out of the Urban Decay All nighter), foundations and lipsticks? One of my college days ends up being about 12 hours (including a 3 hour gap) due to me also having an evening class so this is a day I've been struggling with. xxx
