This was part of the six free gifts that were on offer from the Dare Magazine that was available to purchase from Asda etc and was the main reason why I purchased the magazine as I had wanted to try Rodial.. I am not into the thick eyeliner look and didn’t like that I couldn’t get too close to the root of my lashes and the gap that was left. I did like the ability to smudge the liner to create a smokey eye effect though sometimes I didn’t want to smudge it, which meant that I would get a smudge mark below the eyebrow from the tacky liner. If you were not careful when applying your mascara, more...you could smudge the eyeliner. When wearing the eyeliner, I would always apply my mascara first and then applied the eyeliners this prevented any smudging. It was difficult to remove using my normal cleanser I would have to hold a cotton pads with Micellar water to my eyes for a couple minutes to help remove it before cleansing my face. Sorry Rodial I won’t be repurchasing the product again though it hasn’t put me off trying other products.
I love the original Hoola shade especially in the summer but felt it was a little too dark for me in the winter. The original is still my go-to as a contour on my face and crease of my eyes. If I want a more natural look, I use the lite version as the main colour on my eyes and as a blusher. Both versions of Hoola work well together and separately. If I want a no makeup look I will use the lite version as contour, eyeshadow and blusher. When I want a more polished natural look I will first contour with the original then the lite. Since using the lite version I have had comments of how frmore...esh faced I am. Using different sized brushes give different looks – big fluffy brush will give a more natural look. A blusher brush will give a more defined look. I have worn Hoola Lite as my contour along with Gold Digger blusher and they are the perfect partners. I just hope that a mini and jumbo version follow soon.
I was extremely luck to be sent this by Lola. The first thing that stood out to me is the brush, it is slightly tapered and very flexible. The bristles are evenly spaced out with some a little longer. The short bristles make it easy to apply the mascara to the root which gives the look of tight lining. The longer bristles help curl the lashes and separate them. The shorter bristles at the tip of the brush help coat the lashes at the corners. It is buildable without clumping and there no bits under the eyes after a day’s wear. I like the fact that I can apply one coat and if I want to enmore...hance my lashes more then I can apply a second coat without my lashes clumping together even if it is a few hours later. Not only do my lashes look fluttery and false they also reach my eyebrows when my eyes are open and stay curled all day. Both my IT Cosmetics Cleansing Balm and Miracle Water easily remove the mascara without rubbing and no residue left behind. Due to my dry eye I have to put drops in my eyes and use a heat pad on my eyes other mascaras have run and clumped together – this didn’t. I think I will treat myself to their Mega Volume in Brown for my birthday.
I ordered this from Boots to collect at my local Boots store. When I remove the lid and safety cap I noticed that part of the balm was solid. As this was the first time I had purchased this balm I was not sure that it should be like that. I had seen it on QVC UK and the pot they showed was a more thicker cream texture. It didn’t put me off using it and a very small amount no bigger than a thumbnail is enough once melted in my hands to clean my face and neck along with removing my makeup. Some balm cleansers I have used leave a small amount of eyeliner once I had wiped it off with a muslinmore... cloth. This didn’t. Yes you do get panda eyes or eye makeup around your eyes but it is gone all gone once wiped off with either a flannel or muslin cloth. I have used it in the morning as a first cleanse or a second cleanse at night. Depending if I have time or not I have used the IT Cosmetics Miracle Water both before and after using the balm as well as on its own. My skin loves it. The redness on my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose to me have reduced. It hasn’t irritated my eyes. I will be repurchasing this when I have finished the pot. Not sure when it will be!
This is a brilliant first cleanse or a morning cleanse. You can also use it to refresh your face if you want to change or correct a make-up mistake. It effectively removes Lola Infinite Lash Mascara and Benefit Roller Liner without leaving behind any residue or make-up. Once it has removed all my make-up my skin feels hydrated and nourished, there is no tight feeling either that I have had using other Micellar Waters. I also like to use it as a Tonic/Toner after using the IT Cosmetics Cleansing Balm if I have used the balm as a morning cleanse. It doesn’t make my eyes sting and without rumore...bbing removes all my eye make-up. A little goes a long way.

I was lucky enough to win this Eye Pencil from GlamGleek for being their reviewer of the week.
This pencil is BRILLIANT. I can smudge it; I can blend it or leave it alone. Once I have applied it, it stays where I have put it. I have used it to draw a thin line close to my lashes and a thicker line when I am not wearing eyeshadow. It stays all day and is easily removed with Micellar Water (I used IT Cosmetics) and a cleansing balm (again IT Cosmetics). I did not have panda eyes, this attractive black rings around your eyes when eye make up won’t come off. You canmore... easily create a winged eyeliner look with it. It doesn’t drag across the eye lid like some pencils can and the ability to increase or decrease the amount of ‘lead’ showing is great as this helped me create the winged part of the liner look by placing the pencil against my eye and slowly pulling it down towards my lash line. I have had a look at their website and the colours – are all the colours I like to wear. I think I will treat myself to the grey one next.
Again, I purchased this when I saw it on an Instagram post letting use know that it had been launched. Most of my eyeliners in the past have been black – I ordered the brown. I admit that I prefer a matte look to my eyes as I don’t want to draw to the redness that I permanently. I am not the greatest at creating a flick and found that placing the felt tip where I wanted my flick I could create it easily. The tip is also flexible so that you can draw very close to the top lashes and create either a thick or thin line depending on what type of look you want to create. If you want a thin linmore...e then apply it once your mascara has dried, if you want a thick line apply it before your mascara. The brown is for a more natural look, if you want a more dramatic look try the black. I like the They’re Real Push Liner in all colour variants but I will admit that this is the eyeliner of choice for everyday wear and I will be purchasing the black to see how it looks.
Having seen this on Instagram, I bought it from Benefits UK website. I had bought it before I was told that I shouldn’t wear anything in my waterline which I have tried, and my eyes were red and very sensitive. I apply it to the inner corner of my eye and had no problems. I do like this pencil – the texture is perfect if you want to blend it or leave how it came out of the bullet. My first thought that it would be very noticeable as it has a slight shimmer, but it isn’t. The colour seems adaptable to whatever skin tone it is applied to, again I was worried that it would be too pink for my more...colouring I was wrong. It works well when my eyes are red due to irritation or from being too tired as I have not slept properly, and it goes everywhere I go as I like to re-apply it to make sure I always look awake and less tired. I will be repurchasing it.
I had seen this on their QVC UK shows and wanted to try it as eyeliner is part of my every day look, I don’t wear eyeshadow unless I am going out out. I ordered it from their UK website and picked the shade Brown as most of my eyeliners that I wear on a daily basis are black. It is a lovely formulation that is long wearing both outlining the eye and in the water line. I had even used it to tight line my eye. It looked fantastic when I did it. But unfortunately I have had to stop using it as I have been diagnosed with Dry Eye and MGD, my hubby would always say my eyes looked sore and red wmore...henever I used it. My eyes are sensitive to some of the ingredients in the formulation which means I cannot wear it at the moment I am hoping that once I have my eye problems under control I can wear it again. The shades that are available in the range are prefect and all the colours I would wear. One point of should make is that even though it is waterproof it comes off easily with makeup remover without having to rub the eye area too hard.
The Storm colourway. Though I try to use products that do not contain parabens I love this palette. The shadows look very bright in the palette, but they can be applied subtly. The shadows work well either on their own or with others from the palette. I have used the matte black and brown as an eyeliner which worked well and lasted all day. I used a brush to apply these shadows rather than the applicator that came with them as I found I had more control of how much and where I wanted to place the colour. These can be built up and layered to create different looks. There is little fall-oumore...t, but the colour play-off is brilliant. All the colours are wearable whatever your age and eye colour. I have worn m singularly to create a smoky look as well as combining two or more to create an eye look. I will be buying more of these palettes in the various shades ranges that they have.
