First impressions : I like the packaging, it feels good quality and sturdy. It came with a guitar pick which seems irrelevent to the branding and product itself - slightly tacky, like they're just shoving cheap trinkets in to impress people? The wand is smaller than I expected, slightly curved and bristly. Due to its small size it's quite easy to avoid getting a mess on the eyelid - but unfortunately the formula is so runny that it still manages to get everywhere else. The claims of such beneficial ingredients is lovely, but it's performance is quite clumpy yet very minimal simultaneously.
Honestly, the highlighter is pointless with no pigmentation, and so's the bronzer as it's so orange. The contour shade, however, is a good, cool tone with pretty decent pigmentation. However, it's hard to blend and the entire product gets so messy as powder goes everywhere with just the slightest touch. The packaging is flimsy cardboard, but built-in instructions are a nice idea
A pretty highlighter that's definitely worth such a bargain price. I wouldn't repurchase as I found it emphasised my pores and the pink tone doesn't suit my olive skin. However, despite a lot of usage it doesn't look touched, it has pretty sturdy packaging and I was impressed by the products staying power. Good formula, I'll defo try different colour! cheap and cheerful!
Light and undetectable, this doesn't cling to any dry spots, it isn't cakey at all and it doesn't oxidise!! It sets my makeup exactly as I'd like it to - this powder sorts out any excess oils but it doesn't over-mattify; my skin is as dewy as I'd like it to be and still looks like skin! Mirror's a handy bonus too!
Very heavy to wear, even over the lightest foundations this manages to make your face look cakey. My biggest problem was how much this oxidises!! After half an hour it's gotten three shades darker and is oranger than an orange!! Packaging is OK, quite chunky but not too bad looking, but nothing special. Overpriced - you can get powders for £2 that are 10x better than this!
One of my go-to, everyday foundations! Light to medium coverage, the staying power isn't perfect but is one of the best I've come across! It feels very comfortable all day & looks natural and just like skin! It smells lovely! The shade range is mediocre but luckily works for me. Packaging isn't ideal as glass is impractical for travelling & it doesn't feature a very sturdy lid.
A nice, fairly hygienic applicator with a sturdy cap so unlikely to explode everywhere and mess up a pocket or a bag while on the go!! The product itself feels soothing and smells like artificially, menthol-like cherry, it reminds me of vapour rub, potentially creating a plank effect and making me think it's fixing chapped lips better than it is! Either way, it's fine and cheap
Cheap and cheerful to most, I really don't like this. After initial application, it just feels thick and greasy, so I can understand how it seems like a quick, classic fix to so many people. But due to the petroleum jelly, it just drys out lips over time - marketing scam to make you buy more! Vaseline in general can be ok for hair dying and stuff to prevent staining and this one smells ok.
Not bad at all and extremely cheap and budget friendly!! I wouldn't necessarily call it hydrating, but it certainly doesn't strip your skin much at all. I don't think that it's very good at actually cleaning, definitely not at taking off make up sufficiently, buuuut it does more or less do the job - there are much better cleansers on the market, but for the price, this will do!
As with other products from the brand, they aren't stingy with the amount you get, which justifies the slightly higher price well. I use this once a week or so as a chemical exfoliant due to the glycolic acid in it - I just leave it on my face for a min more. My skin's a bit red after, but clean and soft. Strong chemically smell, but v slightly peachy. Love that the packaging has a pump!
