This was a sample from the Autumn/Winter Dare Magazine that you can buy in some supermarkets. The smell is gorgeous, and the texture of the foam is like a thick luxurious whipped cream. One word of advice depress the button gently to release the product as it comes out a little quickly. A small amount goes a very long way covering the body in a thick nourishing foam. I was a little worried that the foam would be hard to rinse off as it felt like it was stuck to my skin. No problem there it came off with ease leaving behind soft supple skin. The only reason why I wouldn’t buy this is the more...price.
I was given this by a friend. And I am so glad they did. I use it once a week after cleansing my skin before applying my moisturiser. I apply a thick layer on and then carry on with any tasks such as putting clothes away. Once I have finished that, I then remove it with warm water and a muslin cloth. The first time I saw it I hoped that it didn’t turn my skin yellow which it didn’t. It has a lovely relaxing smell, there is a slight tingle, but it isn’t the type of tingle that makes me regret applying it. Once removed my skin looks more healthier and firmer than I used it. There is a glmore...ow and freshness to my skin. My moisturiser sinks in better. I will be repurchasing this as this is the perfect mask for me, I like sheet masks if I don’t have other things to do because you need to be still with them o
I was kindly sent this to review by GlamGeek. The brush is densely packed with bristles and an unusual shape. I found that I had difficulty in applying it to the inner corner lashes then again it maybe the way I was holding the brush. There were very little flecks of mascara under my eyes at the end of the day, but I didn’t find that the curl to my lashes lasted as long as Benefit Roller Lash. It also didn’t give me the length or definition of my lashes that all of Benefit Mascaras give. One coat was not enough the get the desire effect I would have to apply three or four coats. I prefermore... a mascara that gives me definition, length, volume in one coat. This mascara was not for me. I must admit that it did come off my lashes without much effort.
In my house a cleanser needs to suitable a few skin types such as oily, dry and sensitive. It needs to be quick and easy (my two boys) as well as the ability to take time (me). This does it perfectly. There is no fragrance (great for teenage boys). Neutral packaging again great for those teenage boys who don’t want to reduce their street cred. My two teenager boys have very different skin not just to me (44) but each other. One has acne prone skin and the other does not have any breakouts. We all love to use this as a little amount is enough to cover the face, neck and décolleté. The mmore...uslin cloth provided is perfect to remove the cleanser from the face, it also has a fine exfoliating effect. It can be used as a first cleanse in the morning or as a double cleanse in the evening. I like to use the cleanser as a massage lotion when applying it to my face and this has enough slip to enable me to this without sinking into my skin. We have all commented that our skin does not feel tight or dry once we have used it. We will be repurchasing this
I am the type of person that knows she needs concealer but doesn’t know where to apply it. When I went to have my Brow Wax and Tint with Emma at John Lewis Grand Central Birmingham, she colour-matched me and applied it to my under-eye area, nose and chin to reduce the redness. I was impressed with how my skin look with just the concealer on. I was surprised that she had used shade 3 on me. I thought I would have been shade 1 or 2. It was the Beauty Product of the Month on QVCUK. I am glad I did. I don’t have to wear a full face of foundation every day I can apply concealer to the same amore...reas that Emma did, apply liner and mascara and I am set for the day. It is the perfect look for a jeans and t-shirt kind of day. This is the only concealer I will be using from now on.
I have previously used this and having been diagnosed with Dry Eye and MGD, I hoped that this would help keep my eye area clean and moisturised. I use it as part of my skincare routine in the morning and evening and as compress when my eyes feel sore, tired and itchy. As part of my morning routine it helps remove sleep from my eyes. During my evening routine it helps make sure that I have removed my eye makeup and keep my eyelashes clean. I keep one in my drawer and another in the fridge to use when I need a compress. It is cool and soothing to my eyes and since using it regularly I have more...attached the noticed that the symptoms of Dry Eye and MGD are under control if not improved. This will stay in my skincare routine and as part of the arsenal for helping me keep my Dry Eye and MGD under control.
I was kindly sent this by Lola Makeup to review. I chose the Pomegranate shade and I am very pleased with my choice. It doesn’t need a lipliner to be applied first as it doesn’t bleed into the fine lines that I have around my mouth. The pencil shape helps apply it to the lip area perfectly. There is enough pigment to give a hint of colour to the lips and is moisturising without being sticky. I like to apply it straight from the bullet but it is creamy enough to be applied with fingertips to give a more edgier look to the lips. Some cream lipsticks make the skin on my lips peel off this dmore...oesn’t. It stays all day. You can build the colour on your lips without it looking sticky or gloopy. This is one of those lipsticks that can be worn everyday with jeans and t-shirt or when you want to look more polished when wearing smart clothes such as a suit.
I was kindly sent this to review by NYX. The brush is a weird shape which I have never seen on a mascara before. It is hourglass shaped but also rounded. The bristles are all the same length. It also has a swiper in the tube so that the brush has the right amount of product on. I found it difficult to apply to my inner corner lashes as I couldn’t figure out how best to hold the brush to get them – I did poke myself in the eye several times. It applies lovely and has a matte finish which I love. The first week I only wore one coat and didn’t notice much lift effect to my lashes. The secmore...ond week onwards I applied two coats and saw a lift in my lashes. My lashes in with two coats were flexible and didn’t clump. The only downside to this mascara is that it dropped and as someone with Dry Eye it is not good to get bits of mascara in my eyes. I would have liked bristles on the end so that I could hold the brush vertical in order to apply mascara to the inner corner lashes.
I have in the past used coloured eyeliners but have always gone back to either black or brown. I liked but not love the They’re Real Eyeliner, I found I had issues with the green, blue and purple eyeliners. I wasted more on a sheet of tissue than I had put on my eye. They would release product when not in use and would break off when I applied them. When I saw that Benefit had released a new eyeliner, I couldn’t wait for my Brow Wax and Tint appointment to try it. Emma at John Lewis, Grand Central Birmingham demonstrated the purple and blue. I am glad that I tried the blue first as this more...is the colour and texture of and eyeliner I have been looking for. It is soft and easy to apply without having to prime it first. It glides onto my eye lids without pulling the skin. It lasts without smudging or fading. I haven’t tight lined my eyes for awhile as I have Dry Eye and MGD and some eyeliners irritate my eyes. This doesn’t and I have fallen in love with the way my eyes look once done. In the future, I will tight line my eyes with this and apply Roller Liner as my liner and try the purple, brown and black.
I was colour matched after having my brow waxed and tinted by Emma at Benefit Stand, Grand Central, Birmingham and thought that the colour was a little too dark for me. But I was so wrong. In the previous new launch of a Benefit foundation (Hello Happy) I am a shade 1 but this time I was a shade 2. Emma applied it using a sponge but at home I apply it with a Real Techniques foundation brush (I must get a new BeautyBlender). It goes on like a dream, isn’t patchy after a few hours wear and looks perfect in every light due to the photochromic pigments. It reduces that the redness on my cheekmore...s, chin and nose but the best part of this foundation it doesn’t hide my freckles. My skin tone looks even and with a dewy glow that a woman aged 44 must create with highlighter. It doesn’t feel as if I have any foundation on, it just looks and feels like my skin but better, healthier. The benefit does it again, creates another new favourite go-to product.
