The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

For melting away your make up you will be hard pressed (get it😋) to find a better cleansing butter than this! A little goes a very long way. Make sure to warm the product by rubbing between your fingertips before applying it and watch your make up melt away, including smudge proof mascara! The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is I hate my face feeling greasy (had enough of that before I started Isotretinoin!) so I do double cleanse and wash this off with Body Shop Vitamin C Cleanser after it has done it’s job of getting my make up off, as I don’t feel wipes or cotton pads alone would do the trick. As a make up remover it smashes it more than a micellar water, but at a cleanser, I’m not sold.

This is life. I didn’t realise how much make up can stain your eyes and leave a black hue. Making you think you have crucial bags that need rescuing 😂. It’s not sticky, it’s light and spreads well. Don’t be fooled into thinking you need a lot. It’s a simple apply to dry face, rub all over and wash with a damp cloth. (Obviously to save the planet and all that 😐)

An amazing dupe for the pixi Caroline Hirons 2 in 1. Yes you only get the balm side but oh my love the way it melts my name up straight off and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean afterwards. Definitely my favourite ever cleanser.

I love this cleanser! I use it twice a day-morning and night- and find that it leaves my skin feeling really fresh and clean! When using I tend to take a small amount and rub between my fingertips before massaging into my face. This warms up the product and turns it into a beautiful textured balm! This is such an affordable product and only requires a small amount each time to effectively remove make up meaning this will last you ages! Will definitely buy again!

This cleansing balm is an absolute game changer. It’s got quality and quantity! Apart from the fact that you get a huge tin for just a tenner, the quality is as good as the savings because a tiny amount goes for such a long way. And when you use that tiny amount and rub it in, it literally melts away all of your makeup, allowing you to wipe off with a pad and be ready for the next part of your double cleanse. It will remove even the most stubborn of products from your face and your eye makeup too. I just couldn’t live without this baby now. It’s a brilliant dupe for Clinique cleansing balm but works out to be a fraction of the price. And being so easy to use, it’s just one of those products where when you've used it once, you’ll never know how you even lived without it before.

This is a game changer! Since become a body shop consultant I have been trying everything out and I normally use and love garnish mincellar water to remove makeup but no I will only use this! Only need a small amount to remove all of the makeup and it’s soo easy to do! It makes skin so soft and create first step in skincare routine! It’s great on sensitive skin and can even be used by contact lenses wearers! Love! Cannot be without!

If you're not using this cleansing balm right now then you are seriously missing out. Firstly let me tell you about my skin it's acne prone and sensitive. In the past I've used micllear water, cotton pads and makeup wipes all which have not gone down well with my skin. But since using this one from body shop it has totally changed the way my skin feels and looks after removing makeup. The camolie has seriously helped my skin feel smoother and calmer getting rid of red patches. I use it religiously and have stopped by any other makeup removers. What I love is the fact it's not harsh to my skin,plus the huge advantage that it isn't tested on animals. You honestly don't need loads to remove make up. It gently melts the make up off. Priced at £11 I think it is definitely worth it. I've got a few more tins stocked up. I usually get it when bodyshop have an offer for 3 for 2 as you can get 3 Tins for the price of 2 and you save £11. Hope this review helps you and you love it like I do!

This product is my god send go to to get my make up off! I love it and would not buy anything else! Literally you massage the product all over your face including your eyes and the make up just melts away, then simply wipe off with a hot flannel or muslin cloth! Every time I use it, it amazes me. Even takes waterproof make up off! Please go check it out!

I love this cleanser for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it is on par with some high end products for a fraction if the price (around £13). It has a lovely texture that it easy to apply and blends into more of an oil on the face. It dissolves make up and is gentle on the eye area. I have quite problem skin and I find this calming and never irritates. Great for a double cleanse before bed as the scent is soothing.

I love this balm and find it amazing value for the the quality. It is soothing and does not irritate my skin in the slightest. I do not have the tight feeling I usually get after cleansing. It is brilliant at removing pretty much all of my make up - the only difficulty is waterproof mascara but then I am yet to find a cleansing balm that will remove all traces of mascara.

This was the first cleansing butter I ever tried and after all these years it’s still my favourite! The texture is beautifully soft with a subtle relaxing camomile scent, it feels so soothing on the skin and removes stubborn makeup with ease. It’s incredibly gentle so fine for use in the eye area and for anyone with sensitive skin. A tiny amount goes a long way so lasts a really long time. Leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated. This really does feel like a luxury high end cleanser but with a slightly more purse friendly price tag. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I've been looking to add a cleansing balm to my routine to double cleanse at night. Most I found were quite expensive or you couldn't use on eye make up. Found this one, reasonable price and can use on the eye area. Get rid of most eye make up too. Very light scent. Very nice to use. I'm plessed with it. But I was hoping there would be a bit more product In the tin Is a bit shallower than I was expecting.

I'm 100% confident to say that this is the best makeup removing product I ever tried! It's so gentle to your skin and yet merciless to your makeup. Removing makeup never been so easy before. I definitely recommend it even for people with sensitive skin like myself. You can easily with no doubt use it on your eyes too. It doesn't sting or make them red at all. P.S. Little tip how I use it to remove makeup: I wet my hands first and then scoop a bit of product. Rub it between my palms and then apply all over my face including my eyes. Afterward I remove everything with wet wipe. And that's it! I found it that wetting hands helps distributing product on the face easier. It's like using soap, you have to wet it first. As for the price point at first I thought a bit too much (£10) for that much product (90ml/2.7oz/76g), but a little goes a long way you don't need much product. I bought it at least over a month ago and didn't review it because wanted to see how long will it last and if its gonna be worth it, and I still have more than half tin left. 10/10, definitely recommend this product!

I bought this after my friend recommended it and now I swear by it. My skin is incredibly sensitive and I'm prone to getting eczema so I'm always incredibly nervous when it comes to products. This cleanser leaves my skin super soft and calms any red patches on my skin. It is super easy to use and speeds up the makeup removing process before bed. Since switching to this cleanser I haven't failed to take my makeup off before bed once! Its also very satisfying to see your makeup melt away and removed on your flannel. It seems to be a more effective way of removing all traces of my makeup, I no longer find when I use my toner afterward that I'm still getting traces of my makeup on the cotton pad. I'm now on my second pot of it. While £10 might seem expensive for a cleanser, one pot lasted me almost half a year - a little of the butter goes a long way! So it is definitely worth the investment.

In my humble opinion, a product is worthy of HG status when it is good value for money. I wouldn’t say that I actually hate anything about this cleanser but it is pricey at £10 a tin and the packaging is fiddly. I’m trying to gauge how long a tin will last as in the Summer my daughter was home from Uni and we went through a tin in a month hence I think £10 a month is pricey. Onto the love though, this product is spectacular at removing make up and leaves my skin very soft and supple.

✨How have I only just discovered this?? Seriously, I have tried at least 20 Cleansing Balms and this one is the bomb! You get so much product for your money and the tin is really nice to upcycle and use to put things like lashes inside. You only need a little bit of product to remove all of your makeup. It leaves your skin feeling super soft and not dry like some Cleansing Balms can. My skin has being having far less breakouts since using this, which I can only put down to it literally clearing out all the gunk in my pores. £10 is such an amazing price for a fab product, and for a huge tin too!!

This is incredible! My eyelashes always used to get damaged and broken whenever I used waterproof mascara as any cleansing products I used wouldn't take it off properly or easily. I also have sensitive skin so most wipes and micellar waters would make my face burn. I don't have either of these problems with this butter. It smells gorgeous and immediately melts your makeup off your face, you can remove it with either water or a cloth and it leaves your skin feeling so soft and moisturised, sometimes I don't even need to put on moisturiser afterwards because it makes me skin so smooth and moisturised. You can also use this to remove permanent marker from clothes, skin and surfaces, res wine from rugs and you can also apply it around your hairline when dyeing your hair so it doesn't stain your skin. It's amazing!!!

Brilliant change from wipes! Melts make up very well even waterproof mascara so my eyes don't get red and sore! Does dry my skin out at times, but definitely will buy this again!

I’m in love with this product is melts away any make up and it leaves the skin feeling nice and fresh , i also use it when dying my hair around my forehead and ears to stop dye going on there and it definitely works as a barrier to stop it this is such a good product and smells amazing
