I’m no MUA, but I have such a passion for the beauty industry. Some would call my makeup collection excessive, but I definitely think I have room for more right? Makeup to me, is the best kind of art you could ever see however, remember girls and guys you are all beautiful inside and out anyway!
I bought this setting spray about 3 months ago now and at the time setting spray was not really a product I would tend to use. After seeing amazing reviews about this I thought I would try it out. I have definitely noticed my makeup lasting much longer and it gives my skin a really nice finish and glow. It's also brilliant to spray onto your brush before using eyeshadows or highlight for outstanding pigmentation.
I would say the price point for this product is high and not affordable for everyone, however, I use my setting spray most days and after 3 months, I still have a third of a bottle more...so it's surprisingly long-lasting. This is now a must have product for my makeup bag and if you are looking for a quality setting spray I could not recommend this more.
I can't fault this product at all. The pointed brush is great for creating the perfect wing and the formula drys quickly and doesn't smudge or transfer. For the price, this is the best formula I have found and would buy again and again.
One thing I would say is the finish on the eyeliner is not matte and has a slight shine to it which I think looks really pretty, but if you are looking for a matte drying liquid this may not be for you. However, this is such great quality for the price I could not recommend this more as I think NYX has produced an outstanding product.
This is such an easy product to use. Makes brows look sculpted and defined and lasts well throughout the day. The reason I have given this 4 stars is that I think the price point may be slightly high for the amount of product you receive. I think if you are doing beauty on a budget this is definitely not for you. However, if you are willing to spend a little more then this formula is great and works effortlessly.
I love this highlighter! I picked this up at Boots as I'm in the UK, and I have been using it for about a month now. It's so great to see an affordable highlighter on the market with great pigmentation. It's lovely and creamy and has barely any fallout. Even though the pigmentation is fantastic, for a more blinding look, I like to spritz my brush with some setting spray!
I would absolutely purchase this again as I think it a necessity for every makeup bag and for the price point I can't find fault in it at all.
So this month was my first and last month subscribing to this beauty box! I was so excited to open my box and I can't explain how disappointed I was. I received a range of tiny skincare samples that would probably last one use. They were all so small you could have picked them up from stores for around £2-3 each. I felt like they focused mainly on skincare and I didn't really receive any makeup, other than a £6 tiny bronzer which they claim is full size.
I looked in the leaflet to try to match product prices to the samples they had sent me and in the leaflet, they just showed the full sized vmore...ersions of the products I had received and the prices they would have. I don't think this is helpful at all and shows their products are not as good for the money you pay as you would like to think. Other subscription boxes like glossy box, show you exactly what the price point is for each of the products they send you and don't hide any of this information from you.
I think this box is overpriced and are giving you tiny samples they probably receive for free so that you go and buy the full sized products. Save your money girls this is a waste.
I have been using this sponge for about a month now and I definitely am a fan. The sponge is light and soft and blends products perfectly into the skin when used wet. It is something I am glad to have tried, however, this product usually retails for £8. I know it is certainly not the most expensive beauty sponge on the market but for a product, you should probably change every six months or so, for me it is a little overpriced. In certain drugstores like Superdrug or even Primark, you can buy a pack of 4 or so of these sponges for much less than £8 and to me, I think they do pretty much the samore...me job. I have selected I would buy this again because sponges are always a necessity in your makeup collection, so if it last well I may buy another but if you are doing beauty on a budget, there are so many cheaper alternatives of a similar standard.
I've always had very straight and very long lashes. This product curls and lifts lashes to the max and keeps them that way for a really long time. I've found other mascaras that get that lift first, however, they seem to drop back to being straight after some time. Benefits vision on creating this mascara was to create a "hook 'n' roll" brush. The underside of the brush grabs the lashes and as you move it up your lash away from the eye, you roll the wand away from you for the best lifting curl.
I’ve been using primark nails for the last six monthes or so and I can’t find one bad point about them! They stay on my nails for a week+ everytime. They are perfect for events where you need a quick inexpensive manicure to finish off an outfit and the best part is they don’t completely destroy your nails. I have a simple nail glue remover from boots and once the nails are off, I just remove any excess glue with that and your nails are as good as new. One thing I will mention is the coffin nails I usually find are slightly too short for my liking, so for a longer more professional looking manimore...cure, I buy the stiletto shape and file them to the coffin shape. This is quick and easy and filing does not ruin the nails in anyway. Perfect could not recommend more.
