I have just started a beauty blog and really loving it. 'All Made up Nowhere To Go' Which i named because im bedridden and wear my makeup even though im stuck at home on my bed.
Just been playing around with this palette of my daughter's and i have to say most of the shadows are as good as the high-end palettes. The shimmer shades are stunning and super pigmented with a great colour payoff. Impressed £10 by @technic
Another Barry M polish from poundland whichi was excited to try. I have this in shade Magnetic Violet which is a beautiful purple. When it came to using the magnet i wasnt able to get the results that ive seen. It turns into a lighter shimmery lilac shade but theres just no contol over the way it turns out. I end up with lines here and there and not where i wanted them. However i will still use this all the time because the colour is stunning. I apply nails inc nail lacquer ontop to get a gel finish and it lasted 8 days. Im hoping that with maybe a better magnet i can get better results
Ive been using this for many years now and really love the results, theyre highly pigmented and have a really nice shine, always best to use a top coat with these as i have found they do chip easily with a top coat they will last upto a week. They have a nice range of colours too. I like to buy the minis when i can at christmas as i have found im able to use them all as ive had to throw away a few of the full-size as they have turned.
Nails Inc is my Achilles heel and i have serveral of the specail effects polishes. Theres so many to choose from and a great range of colours to suit everyone and every occasion. These are perfect for paining an accent finger and also too add little details to finish a mani. They're also great for kids with everything from glitter to polka dots to sparkly flowers. Best way to use is with a good base coat like nails inc caviar and then apply to a cosmetics sponge then dab onto the nail. This soaks up the clear polish and gives better coverage. Its hard to remove best to soak in polish remover
I really like this polish, i have a few shades and my favourite is the coral colour. It is very pigmented and is easy to apply and achieve a nice application. It is best with a good top coat and base coat, it doesnt fade either. It has a great colour range too
My sister spotted this in poundland and so picked it up for me, Id never tried it before and i love it apart from the colour but it is a perfect substitue for a gel mani, I like the brush size and it is opache in 2 thin coats and has a beautiful shine. Its also quick drying. I great bargain for £1 im definitly going to get more from this range.
I have loved this perfume for along time now. Its a beautiful scent and is long-lasting. It is a sophisticated scent and has a slight musky undertone but not overpowering like opium. I also love the packaging and it looks stunning on show.
I was sent this mascara and i was really looking forward to all the good things id heard about it, However i had an allergic reaction to it so had to take it straight back off. The mascara itself didnt really do anything good for my lashes at all, the wand is great to reach all the little lashes and into the outer corner. But it didnt give my lashes any length or curl and they looked bad.
My daughter uses it now, she already has nice curled amd full lashes so she uses this to wear for school because its so subtle.
I absolutely love this lipstick, It is so light you cant feel it on your lips. It dries with a stunning shine and the colour is stunning. Its one of the best and most luxurious liquid lipsticks ive tried.
Ive been enjoying using this hyper gel nail polish in shade Teal. Its has such a stong pigmentation and looks fantstic.
I have found the best way to use this is by taking nearly all of the polish of the brush and using very thin coats at a time otherwise it takes ages to dry. The thin coats still level out like a gel polish and because the pigmentation is so strong it still only needs 2 coats to get an opache finish. Thin coats also reduce the chipping.
I love the end result with a great glossy manicure. I suggest using a base coat as this will stain your nails.
