I tried these out in superdrug and had to buy two! I bought peach diamond and pearlescent sheen
They do look chalky when you swatch but the moment they are on the skin they blend easily to give you whatever look you want. You can build on them and the shades I bought worked really well for my pale ghost skin, the pinky peach diamond gave me a more natural look while the pearl gave me lunar vibes. Would totally recommend.
I bought the Golden lights one because of the reviews on youtube and it lived up way beyond my expectations. I have really pale skin and this doesn't look odd and sits real nice on my skin. You can build it up to make it more intense and its just a really nice formula. Very cheap as well and works better for me than other high end products.
Real tea here, the colours of the blushed nudes looked super pretty and I was so excited and the moment I dug in. Chalky. Kickback. Stubborn.
The pigments weren't as strong as I had hoped and when you blend too much it turns into a chalky faint grey mess. Its ok for beginners who want a natural everyday look, mostly because you can hardly see them on the lid. And compared to brands like Make up Revolution, this is overpriced crap. Go pick up a pallet that wont disappoint for £10 rather than this..
This was my first pallet when I got seriously into makeup and it Does Not DISAPPOINT.
I was given the ombre type as a present and it first I didn't have a clue on how to use it without looking like a clown. But soon I was in love with the amount of choice, I used it for a good two years and hit pan on every shade. They are super easy to blend and you don't get too much fallout, even the red and purple pigments look like they should, and when you blend they don't go into a grey mush like other shadows. Would totally recommend for anyone new or experienced.
Its great for the price you pay however there are a few issues that arise when I use it. (Im no expert but Im not a beginner either) It's shade range is very good but also confusing, Im a mix of 100 and 104. But who wants to buy two shades when they could find their perfect match somewhere else? Also it does give a matte finish but for me, who has oily skin its a little too matte. It clings to my lines and looks dry and cakey around nose and right between my eyes. So If you want to use it do not use too much powder to set! Its a great everyday foundation but for when you want to look flawless more...go shop somewhere else.
This concealer is very good for newbies to makeup, those who don't want too much cakey coverage. It isn't great with acne spots (big ones) however its really easy to blend and super affordable. They even released new shades and now I found my perfect shade (Shade 0)
I love the way these apply, easy to blend and not too chalky. Shimmers don't need to be applied with a brush with setting spray on like more expensive brands. The only niggle for me is the color story of the pallete, it seems mostly warm toned and then with a few random greens? Would of loved a pinky shade or even a creamy white instead
