I have the Regeneration palette and overall I liked it because it has a nice selection of colours, most of which perform well. Several of the shades look identical, like 'Spellbind' and 'Trance' are very similar pinks, 'Delusion', 'Delusion' and 'Fulfilled' all look like the same warm mid toned brown. I also found that some of the shades, particularly 'Mesmerised' look completely different in the pan than they do on the eye, but it was still pretty. The two shimmer shades are terrible, they swatch nicely but none of the pigment or shine translates onto the eye. I didn't have too much falloutmore... underneath the eye, but a lot collected on the inner corner and the side of my nose which was annoying. The pigments lasts really well during the day, but they do take a little longer than other formulas to blend out. The shade 'Euphoric' is my favourite as it blends well, isn't patchy and is completely unique to my collection! I would recommend this if you wanted to try new colours without breaking the bank. However, if you know you like these colours, I'd invest in a higher end palette which would blend better and have better shimmer shades(like Juvia's Place, which I have recently fallen in love with!) Overall not a bad palette, but not my favourite
This brush is definitely good quality, but I found it was too dense for my face powder. I prefer a fluffier brush to dust powder on my face, and I'd use a sponge to pack on powder if I wanted heavier coverage. This is an odd combination of the two as when you put on powder it moves my foundation around and puts too much in one area. I found that it was a nightmare to clean compared to my other brushes, but it didn't have any sheading. I wouldn't recommend this brush, it didn't work out for me
I bought this in Comfort Zone, and I was super impressed with the two matte shades. I love the white shimmer shade as a brow highlight, as it adds the perfect amount of radiance without it being crazy foiled. The other shimmer shades I found were good for what they were, but I prefer my lid shade to be more metallic or foiled. I would definitely consider buying the Nude Awakening palette because there are a few more mattes. I would definitely recommend comfort zone though, but id probably encourage buying the other two palettes based on the formula of the matte shades.
I bought the shade precious petals and it is nothing like what I already own! It has a warm pink base with a champagne glow and has absolutely no glitter in here. Its not the most blinding highlight I have, but it definitely packs a punch without emphasising texture. I love blending it out as it gives a natural 'glow from within' kinda look. I'm gutted that it's a touch too dark for me now summer is over, but I have been mixing it with lighter highlighters to make this work and still love it! I am very fair so I recon this will work on the vast majority of people. I would 100% recommend, espemore...cially for such a bargain price!
I was so disappointed with this palette! I'll start with the good parts -the packaging is beautiful and the top row of mattes are the same formula as their other dupe palettes. They are easy to blend out but can also be built up to pack a punch. I particularly love the bright purple shade Ayahuasca. The shade Bearded Dragon is the only dud matte shade as it lacks pigment. The bottom row are all shimmers which I was super excited for since the shimmers in their On The Rocks palette are some of my favourites, but they are terrible! The shade Mirage is pretty decent, but all the others are just mmore...eh. They don't translate shimmer well to the eye at all. And don't even get me started on Mojave! The purple glittery shade is I think the worst eyeshadow I have ever used. It is so gritty and has barely any pigment. It looks super shimmery in the pan but all the glitter falls out everywhere and doesn't stick to the lid even with glitter glue. Will continue to use the matte shades, but the bottom half of the palette is a fail- I would definitely recommend skipping over this one :')
For my preference, the formula is way too waxy and doesn't take to the waterline. If you do manage to get it to apply to the waterline then it comes off in a matter of hours! I have managed to get it to stick on the upper lash line, and to give credit where credit is due, it did stay put for a full 12 hour day without fading or transferring anywhere. But if I want a lid liner I'll use a liquid rather than pencil since it is a lot more precise, easier to apply and lasts just as long. Wouldn't recommend or repurchase this
Even though it says this is a contour palette, I am so pale that contour always looks too orange or too muddy on me. I bought the shade Dulce de Leche and used as a bronzer it is amazing! It has this beautiful undertone that I cant quite describe (its warm without being orange, but I don't understand how :') ) It is definitely meant to be built up since it is quite sheer, but that works best for me since if I'm in a rush I use a heavy hand. It blends out seamlessly and looks airbrushed. The matte highlighter shade is too dark for me to use as an undereye highlight, but it is the perfect shademore... to sharpen up contour under the cheekbone. My preference is to use it to set my eyeshadow primer as it helps to remove any discolouration. would 100% recommend to anyone who needs a affordable bronzer
I bought the shade Luminoso since it was a cult classic and it did not disappoint!. It is definitely more on the buildable side and blends like a dream. It does have a strong sheen to it which gives a healthy glow (definitely no glitter though!) It doesn't emphasise my pores, but I would avoid using it if I had a particularly bad spot on my cheek. My preference is to wear a completely matte foundation then add this blush to bring back some glow in specific areas. I also love that it doubles up as a highlighter which is great if you don't have long to get ready in the mornings. It's a bit more more...expensive than other affordable blushes, but in my eyes is 100% worth it. Currently eyeing up the shade Rosa Romantica on Beauty Bay...
I didn’t notice how poorly this concealer wears until I tried other brands. It does have great coverage and works well on covering any spots, but it breaks apart on the skin and looks terrible after around 4-5 hours! (I do have very oily skin) It does have a better shade range than other No7 products, but I’m always cautious with what they match me with. I bought my first foundation from No7 and the lady matched me with that lil machine thing to a completely wrong shade! If you do decide to pick this up, don’t completely reply on the machine to match you
