Its taken me forever to finish this! I liked this as a face scrub. It definitely removes all oils and dirt from your face, but it strips everything out of your skin. Because of this, I recommend following this with a moisturiser. I really liked the exfoliating part of this scrub, I felt it did a really good job without being too abrasive on the skin. I tried this as a mask and it wasn't my favourite. You could see it sucking all the oil out of your pores, but I found it very difficult to wash off. I'd repurchase this if I needed a scrub that works, but I'm not running out to repurchase it
I didn't enjoy this shampoo. I have normal hair with dry ends, and this shampoo retained too much moisture on my roots and made my hair look greasy very quick. I can usually go two days between washing my hair, but this shampoo made my hair look greasy at the end of the first day. I'm not sure this would work on thin, dry hair because it is very heavy. I've almost finished it up but definitely won't be repurchasing
I really enjoyed this conditioner. It is quite thick and heavy, but it did do a decent job at conditioning. I think it would be too heavy for thin or short hair, but on long dry ends it works well. Just be aware it makes the bath very slippery!
I really didn't get on with this mascara. The wand was very sharp, and hurt if you accidentally got too close to the lash line. It deposited way too much product at once, and because the wand was so spikey it was impossible to wipe off excess product onto a tissue. The formula was so wet it smudged all over my lid during application and transferred throughout the day. This mascara did give good volume, but it made me look like I had three spider leg lashes! Forget about using this for your lower lashes. In the end I couldn't use this mascara or pass it on, so it eventually got tossed when it emore...xpired
For the price, this gloss isn't bad, but it definitely isn't good. The colour I had was a bright pink with blue duo chrome shift and it was completely unique to my collection. The formula itself was a bit thick and sticky, and really didn't work for me with long hair, but it was ok in terms if longevity. For me, the real issue was the applicator, the classic kids make up angled plastic tip. You had little control over the placement of the product and it is easy to squeeze too much out at once. For me, it is better to spend a few more pounds to get a gloss with a doe foot applicator.
I'd definitely recommend trying out a mini before investing in a full sized, as the formula might be too much for every day looks and you might not get enough use out of it to warrant the high price tag. However, Star Island is my favourite highlighter! It is the perfect blinding pale goldy champagne colour for me, and lasts amazingly on the skin and doesn't leave a weird cast on my cheek. I also have Glazed Doughnut, but I find it is so icy it leaves an almost grey stripe on my face if I'm not careful. I use it to mix in highlighters that otherwise might be too dark for me, but Star Island imore...s definitely my preferred one. I love the revamped white packaging, but it does get dirty quite quickly. 100% worth checking out
I bought the mini of Rodeo Drive around 6 months ago and have since invested in two full sized highlighters. While Rodeo Drive is way to dark for me, I fell in love with the formula and was shocked at the lasting power! I wouldn't need to top up at any point during the day. It is incredibly blinding, and in no way looks natural, but it looks perfect for full glam looks. I'd definitely recommend trying out a mini before investing in a full sized version because they are so expensive. I now use Rodeo Drive as an eyeshadow for my go to daily look (Madagascar in Juvias Place Nubian 2 palette in tmore...he crease and Rodeo Drive on the lid) and I love it! I'm surprised that this highlighter isn't in the GlamGeek top 10
I have the tinted Rose Blush shade, and it is a pretty colour for every day wear that stays pretty even and doesn't patch off in a weird way. However, I tend to wear a lot of matte or liquid lipsticks, and this doesn't offer the hydration my lips need from the constant abuse. It's a cute colour, but that's about it. I'm trying to pan it just so I can get it out of my collection (I'm about half way through it) but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for intense hydration. I'd go for the Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm over this
I bought the trio of these because the original Nipple Balm is my holy grail, but something with this formula gave me an allergic reaction! On application, my lips began to sting and once it had been on for a few hours my lips became dry and flaky. I had this issue with all three of the shades (Elderberry, Red Radish and Sweet potato) and have since passed them on to friends/family who don't have any sensitivity. I had a really bad reaction to the Carmex Pineapple and Mint lip balm- if you have any issues with that then it'll probably be best to pass on this one too.
In terms of colour, it wmore...as very sheer, to the point where I couldn't tell much of a difference. It is a very thick and quite sticky formula, but it does last for ages. I would recommend the original Nipple Balm over this to everyone
It's taken me months to decide whether I love or hate this thing, but I've finally decided I love it! I have the shade Sugar-coated Kiss and its a nudey pink colour. I hate how it looks on first application- it looks so plasticy and sits on top your lips in a weird way. But give it five minutes to settle down and it turns into this beautiful your lips but better look which no other product has given me. It's really difficult to describe, but it just makes your lips look so healthy and glowwy rather than glossy. The colour wears down to a slightly deeper pink, but is still definitely a nude. Itmore... wears amazingly and has no stick whatsoever. It also works really well over liquid lipstick to make them more of a less drying cream finish. This may be my summer staple! Unfortunately, none of the other shades in the range appeal to me, but if they expand their line I'll definitely check them out!
