Juvia's Place has done it again! The foiled shades are my favourite formula ever, they are smooth, super reflective and last all day. The mattes are pigmented and easy to blend. I wish it included a mirror but for the price I can't complain. Juvia's Place is the most consistent formula I think I've ever tried, I would highly recommend to everyone!
I really love this lipstick! I have the shade M103 (I wish they had names rather than numbers but oh well) and it is the perfect mauve nude. It's almost identical to JSC Celebrity Skin shade wise, but has a similar formula to MAC's matte range. It wears brilliantly throughout the day, even when eating. It is very comfortable for a matte lipstick and doesn't feel as drying as some other formulas do. I love the shape of the lipstick itself, the tip is very pointed and allows for super precise application without a lip liner. It is one of my daily go to lipsticks and I would highly recommend!
Firstly, when it arrived in the post the sprayer was broken. ELF customer services were amazing and did give me a full refund no questions asked. Luckily, one of my perfume nozzles fitted this, so I switched them out to make it usable. The product itself does nothing! It has no illuminating properties and has no effect as a primer. I'm currently using it as a finishing spray, but honestly water would do a similar job. Thank god I bought this during their 50% off sale. The only reason this gets 2 stars and not 1 is because it doesn't make my make up look worse
I'm on the fence with this gloss. I like the formula, but it is very thick and quite sticky. In terms of plumping, this does more than the Soap and Glory Motherpucker glosses, but not as much as the Grande Lips lip plumper. It also gives a bit of a sting rather than the usual tingle. I feel like I'm going through this gloss so quickly! I like this gloss as an easy every day throw in your bag thing, and the packaging feels pretty high quality for £6. I would pay full price for this gloss again, but as with all ELF products, I'd recommend waiting for their 50% off sales.
I have this in the milk chocolate shade and I love it! It gives such a natural bronze look to the skin with no orange tones whatsoever. I struggle to find a bronzer that looks good on me with my extremely fair skin, but this on has the best undertone I have ever tried! It does need a little more blending than other formulas, but it is worth it for the effect it gives. I was sceptical of the chocolate scent, as I don't usually like my make up to have a strong smell, but I love it! I don't know if I'd repurchase it at full price, but I found this gem at TK Maxx, unopened for £8!! Total bargain. more...I couldn't be happier with this purchase. 10/10 would recommend
I bought the shade White Russian 100% because of how hyped it was a few years ago. The formula is pretty long lasting- I can eat a meal and still feel a little of it left afterwards- but it feels quite gloopy. It tends to bunch in the centre of my lips a little if I'm not careful but it doesn't feel too sticky. I really like the plumping aspect of it. For comparison, I find it similar to the Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper in terms of uncomfortableness, but Buxom is more of a sting whereas Grande is more of a tingle (I hope that makes sense lol). I find both of these fairly comfortable. I dimore...dn't notice any plumping effect with Buxom aside from the natural plumping that wearing a gloss gives, but still I've enjoyed using it for the last few months. I'm not sure I'd repurchase, since I have found that the ELF Lip Plumping Gloss has a very similar feel with less gloopiness, but it is worth a shot if you're wanting to try it
This does a decent job at smoothing out the skin if you aren't wearing any foundation/ concealer over the top, but as soon as you layer anything it turns into a mess! It causes my foundation to go patchy and cakey not matter how much you try to blend it. Once you have your foundation looking presentable, it breaks down quickly throughout the day and if anything emphasises pores!
I've enjoyed this for no makeup days for super natural looks, but for anything heavier it's a no from me
I chose the peach colour with the hope of making my naturally blonde hair have a peachy hue. I didn't expect the colour to take to my roots but I thought it would take to the ends to give almost a balayage kinda effect. The instructions on the packet don't work! I followed the instructions to the T and literally nothing happened! I then tried again on dry hair and left it on for 2 hours and it did dye the ends a little, but no where near as much as promised. It was very easy to apply and didn't damage my hair too much, but the lack of effect made it a waste of money! Maybe the darker shades womore...uld work better, but I don't want to waste more money on this product
I bought the shade Blushing Brown, and I liked that the formula glided on without tugging. However, an hour into wear it started to gather at my lip line. By the fourth hour it has clung to dry patches I didn't know I had and the colour patched off and looks terrible without eating or drinking. The formula was still creamy enough that you could rub your lips together and it would mostly spread back out, but I know I would never reach for this formula over Maybelline or Mac. I've used this three times now and I've had the same experience every time. It does work better with a lip liner, but thmore...e cost of this lipstick and a matching lip liner isn't worth it when you could buy a Maybelline lipstick for roughly the same price (if not cheaper). I wouldn't recommend this and I'll probably pass it on to a flat mate
The first time I used this mascara I was SHOCKED at how amazing my lashes looked. It 100% looked like I was wearing fake lashes! It did clump a little, but I think the before and after pictures above give an accurate representation of what this mascara can do. There isn't any flaking or smudging throughout the day, but it is a little tough to get off. My main issue is that while my lashes looked phenomenal for about a week, it's wow factor quickly died down and ended up looking like most of my other super volumizing mascaras. The Essence Lash Princess mascara looks pretty similar to Badgal Banmore...g, and for the price difference (£3.90 vs £22) I would choose Essence. However, I would repurchase Badgal in those mini Christmas sets since you get such a great deal in them!
