I was totally drawn in by the marketing for this mascara. Bambi eyes - yes please! When I first tried it, I thought wow! It is very easy to use, one coat and you have beautiful, bold but fluttery lashes. It curls too which is a bonus. But I have only had it for <2 months and almost over night it has dried out and become useless. So clumpy and rubbish. Going back to trusty old MaxFactor False Lash Effect as a perfect all rounder.

I was kindly sent this to review by GlamGeek. The brush is densely packed with bristles and an unusual shape. I found that I had difficulty in applying it to the inner corner lashes then again it maybe the way I was holding the brush. There were very little flecks of mascara under my eyes at the end of the day, but I didn’t find that the curl to my lashes lasted as long as Benefit Roller Lash. It also didn’t give me the length or definition of my lashes that all of Benefit Mascaras give. One coat was not enough the get the desire effect I would have to apply three or four coats. I prefer a mascara that gives me definition, length, volume in one coat. This mascara was not for me. I must admit that it did come off my lashes without much effort.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with sensitive, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is dark brown, normal with coarse texture.
I was excited about this mascara, the branding is great, using Bambi as a selling point is a cute idea. Unfortunately this mascara transferred to the area just underneath my brows after wearing it for several hours. I have to travel for around two hours to get to Uni, have long days of lectures and practicals, to then travel for two hours to get back home. I need a mascara that can last well, over a longer period of time without causing paranoia.
The performance wasn't great, lacking in both volume and length. I couldn't even recommend this mascara for a more subtle look due to the transferring issue, sticking to waterproof mascara seems like the safer option.
I would recommend trying something else.

Bought the mascara only to try it as it was advertising everywhere. I have long straight lashes so i need a really good mascara to lift them and give a proper look, however this mascara does a little lifting to my lashes. The colour it’s true black. I don’t like the packing though. It’s a bit boring I would say. A girls bag needs some colours and glam.

Who doesn't want the doe-eyed look?! Of course I was immediately drawn to this Bambi mascara! Packaging is cute. Application was good, the wand is the silicone kind that I like. I thought the best thing about the mascara was volume, even though this isn't listed as a key feature of the product. There is no flaking, and it holds well throughout the day. I tend to like my mascaras to be a bit more lengthening, and thought the definition was "okay". The colour isn't the blackest of blacks, but I think this is because the finish is described as 'velvet'.... using two coats achieves big ol' lashes, any more than this and there is definite risk of clumping. Verdict: a good all-rounder, but I have had better mascaras. Would recommend to those mostly seeking voluminous lashes.
