Mac Angel is my fave go to lipstick since I learned years ago that Kim K was wearing it at the time, as soon as I tried it I was hooked. It’s good coverage with a frosted finish and pink in shade. Definitely a subtle day time shade, not quite bright enough for a night out. I love the smell of it too, it almost smells edible like sugary, but hey don’t go chomping on it though!

It so good literally only need two swipes for bottom and top lip would totally recommend. There was nothing I didn’t like about the product it ticked all my boxes everything I wanted in a lipstick it had. The only thing I disliked was it ran out .

Never had a problem with any Mac lipstick. Always long lasting with great coverage but feel comfortable on the lips. They also have a very broad color range for any mood or occasion. My go to brand for a new lipstick.

I’ve used MAC lipsticks for years and they’ve got the best selection of colours than any other brand. The ‘satin’ formula is my absolute favourite because they go on smooth and they don’t feel dry on the lips at all. My favourite satin lipstick is Twig!

I bought this lipstick in the shade “influentially it” and I hated it, it felt slippy and greasy on the mouth and the pigment just wasn’t there. It wasn’t opaque it was streaky and horrible also after one application the lipstick must have got too warm and was “melting” the first few millimetres of the lipstick we’re slop baring in mind I applied it correctly like any other lipstick. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it and it was a shame i wasted my money MAC do have some real great products but this just wasn’t for me

It's a little mad that this is a single category here, as there's so much variation in Mac lipsticks.
I own Whirl, Mehr, Soar, Modesty, and Viva Glam VI. (three mattes, a creemsheen, and a lustre)
The mattes are very comfortable for matte lipstick. Easy to apply, pleasant fragrance, fairly long lasting if you're careful. I look at all lipstick as a balance between comfort and longevity, because it seems you sacrifice one for another. Mac mattes, as I've experienced them, are some of the best of both worlds. (I haven't tried Retro Matte or liquids). Whirl is flattering on me when I'm wearing warm shades, Mehr is a spicy nude, Soar is purple two or three steps edgier than a nude.
Modesty is my Creemsheen. Super comfortable and moisturising, doesn't last long on, but longer than you'd expect given the comfort. My perfect MLBB (NW20 with pigmented lips).
Viva Glam VI is Lustre, not as comfortable as Creemsheen, somewhere between non moisturising and slightly drying. Translucent red stain on me.
Can't fault Mac for help with lipstick though. They have so many, something for everyone, and when I've gone looking for help they (almost) always work with me, my desires, and my unusual colouring to find the perfect thing for me. If I'm looking for a new lipstick and can justify something not drugstore, my first stop is always Mac.

The ‘Powder Kiss’ Lipstick range promises to “blur lines and smooths the lips”, have a “soft focus” appearance and to “moisturize”.
This matte lipstick comes in 24 shades and is currently £17.50
I was sent a sample in the shade ‘Devoted to Chili’.
The pigmentation and texture of this lipstick is excellent and it does what it claims to do, except it doesn’t feel moisturising over time like a balm.
The downside to it (and the reason why I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase it) is that it has a high transference rate and just doesn’t last long enough, requiring several reapplications throughout the day. I wouldn’t consider this good value for money as there are cheaper alternatives out there. If it lasted longer, then it would be worth the money

Very moisturiseing on lips so doesn’t dry the lips out or make them look flakey, lovely shine but I would not buy again as it didn’t stay on for long and comes off onto cup/glass ect. So deffo not worth the money.

I used to be sceptical about paying too much for a lipstick, however I purchased MAC matte Muir for my wedding day and I've never looked back. When I treat myself it's now to a new MAC lipstick, they're long lasting and look beautiful and very regularly get compliments. I wish they were a little cheaper purely so I could buy more!

This lipstick is quite lovely when applied but needs to be reapplied every few hours. lovely when applied with a good lipliner. However its best to exfoliate lips before applying as it tends to peel on dry lips giving a sort of crusty look.

I was lucky enough to get this for my birthday and I love it ❤️ It is matte but soft and non drying. The texture is great and long wearing especially if put a little lip balm before and after. I really love this shade as well Think it is a colour that would suit most. Recommend 👍👍👍

I recently decided to bite the bullet and try a Mac lipstick. I've only recently started wearing lipsticks regularly. Until recently it gave me a - little girl trying on her mummy's make up- kind of a look. Not particularly flattering. But through the occasional nude lip I've become very fond of a good lipstick. I did my research and decided that Mac had the best reviews and such a large variety of colours. I asked GlamGleek for some suggestions which really helped. They were gorgeous colours. So I finally went to my local House of Fraser and tried them out. Now I'm really not one who can pull off a red but the Mac amplified devoted to chilli was so gorgeous and perfect!! I got a lip liner to match and wow! It lasts for ages. I have since gone back and bought teddy love which is so perfect for an every day look! I love it! I've already got my eyes on taupe after reading an amazing review of it!
