I am a big fan of lip liners - outlining to stop a lipstick bleeding, coloring in the whole lip to wear with lip balm, evening out my lip shape and making them look bigger!
The majority of lip liners in my collection are by MAC Cosmetics. They are a lovely formula - very long lasting, even after eating lunch. They are handy as they don't get blunt easily due to a slightly harder texture but are easy to use and don't drag when applying.
I love these and highly rate! My most used shades are Soar, Deverish, Whirl and Nightingale! The shade range is amazing as there is a color to match to every shade of lipstick!

I am in my late teens/early 20's with combination, light tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is dark brown, combination with fine texture.
I don’t usually spend much on lip liners but I received this as a gift and after trying it I purchased more colours since I really loved it and some of the colours are super nice even the colours that I usually can’t find in drugstore liners or colours that don’t usually work, these work great.
I really like the formula of this liner, it is very similar to the Rimmel lip liner but it has more pigment and it lasts longer. The formula of this is very creamy and very pigmented but it isn’t creamy to the point it snaps all the time when I try to apply it which is usually the problem with drugstore liners. The lighter nude colours apply really nicely and actually show up on the lips, the darker vampy colours are not streaky or patchy and show up on the lips after one swipe. They apply very easily and aren’t scratchy on the lips, the point makes the lines very sharp helping overline the lips easily. Some of the more unique colours still works as well and show up very bright and vibrant.I like the packaging how it’s a sleek black colour with the colour of the actual pencil on the top, the colours are basically identical meaning I don’t have to open it to check the colour.
One of the main reasons I love it so much is due to that fact that you can easily sharpen this and get it to a fine point without it snapping meaning if it goes blunt you get a nice point again.
Recommend if you don’t mind spending the money, a great alternative is the Rimmel lip liners.Love them!!🤩😍

Love MAC lip liners - especially in the shade Soar. This and the Mehr or FastPlay lipstick are a perfect combo! They’re pigmented, creamy and the majority of them can be worn in place of a lipstick without being too drying. They never let me down!

i love this so much, very long lasting, no break offs, colours are gorgeous, the variety of shades are nice but this can be slightly too dry for my lips and i feel like i really have to TRY to apply the product with a firm hand. Just doesn't glide like hudabeauty ( £3 more than this and defo worth it) but still a lovely product with downfalls

I have tried to like these many times, and have purchased several, however my opinion never changed. I find these difficult to use, as they are quite hard and dry - which makes them painful to apply at times! Not worth the high price!

I prefer whirl over any other colour in this range due to its versatility and how it compliments multiple different lipsticks but I find the stick quite dry and hard to apply- it hurt my lips quite a bit and wasn't the smooth application I had hoped for.

I have 2 of these and i must say whirl especially is stunning as im sure they all are depending on the lipstick you would wear it with. The shade whirl i would say goes with any nude pink toned lipsticks. The added benefit i love about this and i mean love is it makes your lips appear fuller and i hsve quite small lips so thats an added bonus.Dont take that as a fake lip injection gone wrong but it really does give a beautiful fullness to the lips.Love it :)

I find the lip liners a lot more long lasting than Mac lipsticks, they are highly pigmented and easily sharpened. You honestly only need a few different colours to match your whole lipstick collection. Weather they are darker or lighter they are easily blended in with lipsticks or liquid lipsticks and look great.

very good quality, but perhaps a little expensive for a lip liner. My favourite shade is whirl, and I love the Matt effect, however I do find it is quite drying so I only apply around the edge of my lips.

I have a lip liner in the shade 'etcetera' and it is a lovely pinky nude colour. I use it to line the outside of my lips and have also seen it applied all over the lips, however I find it to be quite drying therefore I do not use it for this. It is slightly expensive for a lip liner but I believe with MAC you pay for quality.
