NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette

I had this palette as part of a gift set in the sale at Boots. I have the Warm Neutral shades. I was pleasantly surprised. The colours are gorgeous and create such pretty natural looks. The colours blend better than some of my more expensive palettes. I find myself going for this palette most days. May try the other shade palettes. Well done NYX!

Review of: NYX ultimate shadow pallet // warm neutrals I decided to purchase this seen I've been recently getting more into makeup - specifically eyeshadows, and I wanted a good everyday pallet I could use. I'm super happy with it; the mattes blend fantastically and you can make the eye look as subtle or as bold as you like making it great if you want to wear it on a night out as well. I wouldn't say the shimmer shades are that great since I definitely need a wet brush or my finger to get any good pay-off, however I don't often use glitters since I have hooded-ish eyelids and for an everyday look I just use mattes. If you're looking for good glitter/shimmer shades I'd purchase a different or extra pallet. The pallet is surprisingly small but the pan sizes are good and this would be a great addition to any makeup back, especially if you were to go on holiday since the pallet is a perfect size for travelling and the packaging is very sturdy - the only thing missing would be a mirror. Overall I'm really pleased and I definitely feel like this is worth the money; It's perfect for beginners since you get all the nude shades you could need for a very reasonable price and it's also great if you're looking for a super wearable pallet since I can see myself using nearly all the shades in this for a variety of events.

i have the smokey one and i do enjoy using this, so pigmented, buttery, can create so many looks, i would love to get some of the other palettes, they all blend well, works well with what concealer i use, the mattes are good and the shimmers are incredible, really good little palette to have in your collection

This is a great everyday palette with lots of nice neutral shades - I have even hit pan on some of them! I wouldn’t buy it again just because I think there are some better neutral palettes out there with more shade ranges, such as BeautyBay and Colourpop.

I received this eyeshadow palette in the 2019 Glossybox advent calendar. Packaging is pretty basic really. This palette retails for £16 and has 16 shades so £1 a shade really however NYX is a drugstore brand and I feel the price is a bit on the higher side really. This is your typical natural, neutral tone palette. I have a few natural eyeshadow palettes so wasn’t overly pleased to get this in the advent calendar however I was pleasantly surprised by it. I want to say the palette contains 9 matte shades and 7 shimmer shades. Other than an odd couple of shades they are fairly well pigmented. Tiny bit of fall out but nothing major. I’m pleasantly surprised with most of the matte shades being fairly well pigmented and the shimmers are pretty too. Since getting this in the advent calendar it’s the palette I’ve mostly been reaching for. You can create a multitude of looks with this. It’s a perfect natural palette and perfect for beginners to makeup. I pretty much wear an eye primer all the time as I know eyeshadow works best with an eye primer. When applied to the eyes they were easy to apply and blended well. With eye primer on my eye look stayed in place all day. I do find with the shimmer shades they work well both either by wetting your brush then applying it or by using your finger, they work best this way in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this palette and I wouldn’t repurchase this particular palette as this one will last me for ages but I would definitely consider purchasing more eyeshadows from NYX!

I love this palette! It’s perfect for everyday use no matter what you’re doing.I use it everyday. The only thing I dislike about the palette is you can mix and match what colours you use but they don’t blend that great. Still love it though

NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette USP03 Warm Neutrals This is such a great little palette with 16 shadows in browns and golds. There’s a matte and a shimmer in almost every shade and it’s a perfect palette to accompany the Morphe 35R shades if you wish to use them together. I also have this palette in USP04 Brights and it is amazing!! Every colour of the rainbow is included with some shimmer shades and a lot of mattes. This would be perfect for festivals and funky nights out!

I have the warm neutrals palette and bought it as the shade range really appealed to me. Despite the variety of shades I find that the shadows have a lot of fall out which isn't ideal and I find it difficult to get the colours off my brush and onto my eyes. I wouldn't buy this product again as I think there are better eyeshadows in other neutral palettes.

I bought the ultimate brights palette and love it! It’s so handy and the packaging is really good quality. The shadows all apply lovely and blend out nice. They aren’t the most pigmented but when it comes to bright colours I tend to prefer that. It’s easy to build the colours up and get a stunning look.

This eyeshadow pallet is just amazing I got this as a gift and I love it, the choice of colours is amazing and they mix well together
