Heyyy I'm Jade
I'm a wife, mum of 2 and a makeup addict.
I'm not bothered about shoes or clothes shopping...makeup is my main thing.
I'm not as good at makeup as I'd like to be, and did once aspire to be an mua... but there are too many out there, and it is freakin hard work. Truth be told I'm only half decent at doing makeup on myself. I like to try new looks and products. I have low self esteem and think makeup really boosts me up and feel great.
I generally prefer drug store makeup, but I'm a sucker for ABH ??
I got this from poundland and use when blow drying my hair. It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling so silky. I don't actually find it makes my hair greasy it makes it feel so sleek and shiny. Deffo worth it for a bargain!
After spending half an hour in superdrug I picked this beauty. Now I will just make you aware only the bigger ones have the snake on the bottle! But it smells gorgeous and lasts all day. I can't quite pinpoint what scent it is but it just smells lush. It's expensive but the perfume does linger all day!
So I love soph so it was only right to get this. I have the original soph x palette and love that one. This one has loads of lovely bright, shimmer shades. The pigmentation is amazing, and the shadows are so easy to build up and blend. I do find the shimmer pops better when applied with a finger. So many looks you can create with this. The packaging is beautiful, and has a large mirror inside. I don't get any fallout from any shadows and they do last better with a primer or base down. I know some have said that the pigmentation isn't amazing but personally I find for a tenner they are. It's dmore...effo worth a buy, for going out looks or even everyday. I have no problem getting a pay out from the shadows. I think it depends on what brushes you use, as with every palette.
It's good to keep lips hydrated but not the best for chapped lips. I just don't think it does anything for chapped lips but it deffo keeps lips moist. I do apply quite often as easily wears off. It has spf too so was good to take on holiday for my children to use
It's a must have for dry and cold weather. Oddly it does make my lips tingle but lasts a long time. I like that it a spf as not all lip balms are. It's cheap, so there is no excuse to have scabby lips haha
I've heard great things about nip fab but never got round to trying out their stuff. After seeing this £2 bargain at tk Maxx I thought I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately the only shade they had was banana. Which as it suggests yellow ish. I prefer to use under foundation, to define my brows and to use as an eyeshadow base as it isn't too white. The coverage is good, and the formula is better than I thought it would be. I don't really like the squeeze tube but find it a lot easier to get out than the typical dopher type concealer. I'm not sure if I would buy at full price but I think it's good.more... Probably more use out of it if I had yellow tinge to my skin. It's good for using on bronzer days under banana powder tho!!
So I've seen these in poundland so many times and thought... for a quid is it even gonna be good. ..
Omg yes. Makes my hair feel so silky, smooth and sleek. Obviously smells amazing too but I'm shocked. £1 shampoo and it's the best. I deffo won't be using any other shampoos but it's now made me go Argan oil mad... I now have the conditioner and heat spray. Honestly for the sake of a quid. Try it
I bought this as it was in a sale. I really like this concealer. Tbh i thought it was gonna be typical generic formula but it's good. It has good coverage, hides dark circles and isn't too bad for creasing as long as you set with powder. I use under makeup for spots and then the conceal dark areas. I use one of the lightest shades. Applicator is good and has lasted quite a while with consistent use. I know it can be tricky to get as I'm not sure if boots still stock seventeen but it's worth the small price tag
I think the shades in this look more like a bronze which is what I purchased it for as the blush colour is kinda in the middle so.
I think it's way too shimmery and just overtakes the shade tbh. It would be better as a highlight rather than bronze and I'd never of thought of it as a blush
