I tried this for a few months before switching to glossy box. I found that the products were nearly all tiny samples and it wasn’t that interesting. I did like the nice drawer type box though! Not worth the money for me.
I’ve had a glossy box subscription for the last 4 months and overall I really like the products. Very few are misses and for the price I think it’s great. It’s a mix of makeup, skincare, hair and body products. Some sample size and some full size. It’s a good way to discover new things without spending too much.
This is a good place to start with retinol. It’s reasonably priced and it does work. I found my skin was smoother, less lines and a more even tone. I didn’t have any irritation from it. I prefer it to the ordinary serums.
I’ve repurchased this so many times. It’s a great price, lasts for ages and it easy to use. It gives a good line which you can make thin or thick. It survives running! Val Garland says she thinks it great and if it’s good enough for her then I’ll keep using it.
I loved this after I bought it. It’s really easy to swipe on and blend with fingers, a brush or a sponge. The finish is a natural radiant look and it can easily be sheared out to a light coverage or built up to full coverage. It lasts a good 8 hours which is plenty for me. My only issue is that after about 6 months I’d only used about two thirds of the product and it went off. It did not smell good! I had to bin it. Probably other people get through foundation faster than I do though so 6 months might be fine.
I love this in the mornings. I actually don't care what it does for my skin, it just smells so fresh and citrusy. Luckily, it does seem to hydrate my skin and I have noticed some reduction in pigmentation around my eyes and a little more of a healthy radiance on my cheeks. My skin feel great after I use this. I really enjoy using it and would definitely repurchase.
I actually really like this. It has amazing coverage and lasts all day. However, you have to use the teeniest amount or else it will look dry and cakey. I have no clue why they have started selling the jumbo size - I have been using a sample size for over 6 months and still have loads left! I can't imagine getting through a huge tube. I use it under my eyes (personally I don't find I need to set it) but it also works brilliantly on blemishes too. It cosmetics UK usually send you it as one of the free samples if you buy 2 products and I love their foundation and mascara so it works out well.
I so wanted to like this! I usually wear a light to medium coverage foundation and then powder my Tzone for shine. I though this would be perfect. The coverage is light/medium but it disappears after an hour or so (I have normal skin not oily or dry). It does initially blur pores but I find it settles in lines after a while and then entirely vanishes. Used very thinly it provides a good base/primer for powder foundations like bareminerals if I want a slightly fuller coverage of my powder foundation- I am clutching at straws for ways to use it up!
