BaByliss Pro Ceramic 230 straightener with 230ºC high heat it is ready to use in 30 seconds, with variable heat settings, it's suitable for different hair types to give total control during use.
This was my first ever straightener and l was pretty naive - I had no idea what made a 'good straightener'. I used it for about three years before someone bought me GHD's and changed my life. I realised the Babyliss one took years to heat up and centuries to straighten your hair. I have slightly thick, wavy hair and this straightener could barely handle it.

I am in my late teens/early 20's with normal, fair tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is blonde, oily with normal texture.
My GHD's broke and these were on sale in Costco for £20. To my surprise - these are better. Absolutely perfect. I have long, fine blonde hair that is almost straight. For me, the temperature control was a godsend and within five minutes my hair can be perfectly straight. In ten minutes I've got some body and curl.

This was my first ever pair of straightners and i couldn't have chosen a better introductory product! After 5 years I'm finally renewing them but they are still in brilliant condition. They heat up real quick and to a decent condition and considering i have thick hair allowed me to straighten my hair in a decent amount of time.

This straightener can straighten my hair within 10 mins, the gold plates are really smooth and silky on hair. Goes up to 230 degrees at highest within seconds. Great for getting hair at the roots without burning the scalp. Excellent for curly/frizzy hair. Also a good product for damaged/dry hair as its not as harsh as other straighteners.

I am in my mid 20's with sensitive, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is black, asian with fine texture.
Good hair straighteners for the approx £35 paid. It straightens well but does not have any 'gimics' or extra aspects that make them stand out. I have now switched to a better brand of straighteners but keep the Babyliss in the house. However, the plates did go weird after a while and did not seem to properly clamp together anymore.

These are fantastic, and you can often get them half price, which is even better! I much prefer them to ghd's, as they seem kinder to my hair! I bought mine in 2007 and used them daily until I upgraded to the Elegance version of them last year! I gave these to my mom who loves them too!

I've had this straightener for ages and it still works really well. I have very curly hair which can be very hard to get and keep straight but this does it perfectly. A friend straightened my hair with GHDs once but my ends were going curly again not long later. I would really reccomend this :)
