The Mascara Revolution is the first mascara to be launched since Revolution Beauty re-branded early this year. It’s rumoured to be a dupe for cult classic Better Than sex by Too Faced and is said to be on par with high end formula’s. The only downside to the new high end formula is the slight price increase, but at £8 it is still at an affordable drug store price that we would expect to pay. The hourglass shaped brush hugs the lash to create a natural curl while the highly pigmented formula adds amazing volume and length that won’t flake or smudge. The rich consistency dries down to leave you with fanned out, defined lashes. Its available to buy now at Revolution Beauty or Superdrug and there is also a whisper that a waterproof version will be available soon. If you fancy getting your hands on this fab new mascara, get reviewing your beauty loves and loathes as we will be giving two away next Friday to our Review of the Week winners!

Last year it was the sheet mask and this year was set (no pun intended) to be the year of the jelly mask, however after failing to make an impact in the beauty world Nip+Fab seemed to have come up with not one but two additions.
Dragons Blood Jelly Mask…for those of you who don’t know, Dragon’s Blood is a red gum or powder that is derived from the fruit of certain palm trees and from the stem of the dragon tree and related plant, I’m just putting it out there. The key benefits to this mask are dragon’s blood which smoothes skin’s appearance and plumps the look of wrinkles, hyaluronic acid which moistures and hydrates and allantoin which soothes + protects skin. The ultra-light, jelly consistency is very cooling and calming, with key active ingredients to soothe and protect the skin leaving it with a healthy, dewy glow.
Glycolic Fix Jelly Mask…the key benefits to this mask are that glycolic and lactic acids smooth and exfoliate the skin, hyaluronic acid delivers moisture, and vitamin B3 improve skin’s luminosity. With a combination of skin refining and exfoliating active ingredients, the mask will revitalise the skin by removing dead skin cells and reducing breakouts while revealing a brighter, plumper complexion. Both masks are currently on a introduction offer at Boots for only £9.97, the future price will be £14.95 on 24.10.18.
If you have ever fancied trying an Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip gloss without committing to the full price product this could be a great opportunity or would even make a fab crimbo gift. This pretty festive box houses a gorgeous toffee-hued, light warm brown, 2g mini lip gloss by Anastasia Beverly Hills for just £6 opposed to the full price product which comes in at £17 . The ABH lip gloss is a full pigment, non sticky, weightless formula with a delicate vanilla scent that’s enriched with nourishing oils to soften lips and prevent them from drying out.
