I bought this foundation because I wanted something light coverage that would even out my skin tone but not feel too thick or cakey as I don’t like heavy foundations. It is definitely easier to apply with fingers - I think it is difficult with a blender. It looks good to begin with but I do find it can start to look oily and I think the colour changes as you wear it making you look a bit darker later in the day. I will probably finish the tube but I’m unlikely to buy again - I’ll probably stick with the No7 Loose Powder Foundation instead as it’s better for my oily skin
I decided to buy one of these as I was after a matte lipstick with staying power and my friend had mentioned this brand. After discussion with the assistant in Boots I went for the shade push up - some of the lighter ones were in danger of washing me out. I wanted a lipstick with staying power that was nice and neutral for work as I don’t have a lot of time for touching up make up during the day. This one has managed to last through eating and drinking without budging! If you struggle with the applicator you could use a separate lip brush but I found it ok and quick to apply. The only slight nmore...egative is that being a matte it is quite drying and I can sort of feel I’m wearing it because of this which is a strange sensation.
This top coat is fabulous. It is definitely the best one I have ever bought. It is easy to apply, dries incredibly quickly, but best of all makes my polish last the best part of a week. It has a nice glossy finish. I’ve recommended to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again when I run out.
I love this palette. It provides you with a range of warm neutrals and coral colours that all work well together with little effort. Good for daytime looks but with a few pops of colour for more dramatic eyes too. For a makeup newbie like me it is easy to put together a nice eye look. As with other BH palettes I’m really impressed with the matte shades - they are very pigmented. I have been able to experiment with blending with this palette - it’s difficult to go wrong with these colours.
I really like this palette, the baked shadows are very impressive in their colour pay off when dry - I haven’t used them wet. The best part of this palette is the matte shades though. I find that cheaper matte shadows can be a bit powdery. The pigment of these is incredible - you really do need to just dip your brush in carefully and tap off excess with these. The formula of them is really creamy. I’m not an expert at blending but these seem to do the job. The colours are a little on the dark/cool side for me and the packaging is a little large so it’s not a very portable palette but other thamore...n this I am very impressed.
Have used this for a while along with the shampoo. After washing I spray this on my hair and brush through easily. I have a wavy/curly hair that can get quite tangled but this makes light work of it. I don’t have to use a separate heat protector and often use no other styling products except this. My hair feels in good condition and I haven’t had split ends for ages. The scent is a unique floral which I like but is strong.
I wasn’t sure about this the first time I used it. It has an odd consistency compared to shampoo or conditioner but I find if you really work it in and rinse well, then follow with the same brand leave in conditioner spray it leaves my hair very soft. It definitely saves time in the shower! Would be good decanted for travel too. Make sure you buy the dispenser pump too if you get the big bottle of this.
Affordable makeup palette with great pigmentation. There isn’t one shade that I wouldn’t wear. I’m a makeup newbie so I just tend to put a bit of bronzer in the crease and then cover my lid with one of the shadows. I spray with some setting spray and it lasts well for me. I haven’t tried with a wet brush - they may perform even better but I’m not used to applying in that way. Would definitely buy another of these palettes, the shades suit my yellow skintone and it’s great value for what you get.
