Fantastic value for a decent quick drying nail polish in lots of fun colours. Yes you'll need two coats, but don't most? I used on my toenails and love the drying speed as I get bored of waiting - or forget I'm supposed to be waiting! Dries with a satin finish. Lasts OK. Who can argue at the price point?!
I adore the intense colour saturation of this product, but I just find it unbearably drying on my lips. It falls into every crease and does not feel at all comfy. I've tried in combination with a lip balm, but the product then seems to slip and separate. Decent staying power, if you can abide the sensation. Maybe I'm too used to wearing lip stains....
In my ongoing quest for the ultimate mascara, I thought I may have finally found a winner. Excellent wand, beautifully pigmented, no flaking or smudging. However, after owning this product for a few weeks, it's a completely different animal. The formula has dried incredibly. The brush gets clogged and lashes clumpy. I'm always careful not to 'pump' the wand and introduce air into my mascaras. I take care to store my makeup properly. So, why is this happening?! I had heard similar in reviews for this product, but didn't truly believe it until I saw it for myself. The quest continues
Taking part in a trial for GlamGeek. Although I have combination skin, I do like to use a rich night cream. This cream is heavy enough to be moisturising, but does not leave skin unmanageably greasy and clogged in the morning. Interesting apple skin scent. I've tried in combination with my lactic acid night treatment and it's a good, soothing cream to stop associated dry spots. My only complaint is that it's not so very much better than my trusted Boots Botanics brightening night cream to warrant the triple or quadruple price tag. May buy again and use in conjunction with my other creams.
I was asked to review this product by the GlamGeek team. Not tried the brand before, so no preconceptions. First impressions: good smooth application and not an unpleasant smell (if a bit chemical-ish). However, I'm not sure exactly what this product is for. The coverage is so sheer that it is more akin to a tinted moisturiser, yet it doesn't offer the full hydration benefits. I tried application with fingers, a foundation brush and beauty blender. All yielded similar coverage. Perhaps a buy if you want the light coverage of a tinted cream with addition of the stated skincare ingredients
A great face scrub. Quite abrasive, so go easy on sensitive skin. I have combination skin and am very prone to dry, flaky patches. This sorts it out a treat. Also seems to draw out impurities and leave pores looking smaller and less obvious. Excellent for the price.
I'd heard great things about this primer, but really not for me. It has a very plasticy texture. Like pasting your face with PVA glue. I used it very sparingly, yet it still flaked and rolled up under my fingers. It takes far longer to dry than any other primer I've used. Once dry, I feel the finish is still not ideal as a make up base. I'll stick to my Becca primer thanks!
Had been meaning to try this product for ages, but thought it the preserve of QVC. Now on sale at Debenhams and the Cult Beauty website. Adore it! I use it over my Becca primer. It's matte, without looking dry. Has a texture like no other foundation I've used. Beautifully buildable too. Can be used under eyes without creasing. Simple and fuss free. My new favourite foundation.
I remember my sister using Batiste when I was a kid and thinking it was a miracle! I'm never without it; whether for second day hair, or to build volume when styling. Can be a tad dusty/chalky looking if overused. Use carefully and put off that blow dry for one more day.
