Hey! My name is Caitlin and I’m a very big makeup and skincare lover! I love to post reviews about products I’ve tested for others to read. I’m a business student & part time retail worker, my reviews are based on my personal experiences.

Personally, I think this is a product that is great for beginners and those just getting into makeup. It’s very affordable and there is 3 different shades. I remember using this when I first started doing makeup and learning how to do my eyebrows and it was great although I could only use one shade. (the lightest one) However, the brow gel is brilliant for the price! It sets brow hairs in place easily for a long time and it is easy to apply and shape the brows more.
Although, I wouldn’t buy this again personally as I use other products which suit my eyebrow colour more and apply better.
I quite like this gel. I feel that it is easy to apply through the brow hairs and doesn’t feel heavy on the brows. This gel is great as it’s clear and really does set the brows in place so the eyebrow hairs don’t move throughout the day and keeps them looking sharp. I use this along with the ABH Dipbrow pomade in Dark brown and the gel doesn’t change the colour of the pomade. However, I don’t really like the feel of the gel on my brows when it’s applied but once it’s dried down it’s fine honestly, as long as you don’t use too much gel else it can leave your eyebrow hairs feeling weird (learnt more...from experience haha)
But this is definitely my favourite brow gel for setting brows and the gel lasts quite a while, great for days where I wear makeup for a long amount of time.
I have two of these palettes. One is Newtrals 2 and the other is Iconic Fever. These palettes are honestly stunning and very pigmented for the price. I believe they only cost £4 per palette which is a bargain for what they are and how many shadows you get! The glitter shadows are pigmented too which is great and I usually spray some Fix+ on an eyeshadow brush to make them even more pigmented. I think that the shadows are easy to apply and you don’t need to use a lot of product compared to other drugstore palettes I’ve tried. They blend out very easily, I especially love the red and orange shadmore...es as I struggle finding palettes where the pigment is great + the shadows blend easily without being patchy.
These palettes are great for creating numerous looks whether neutral or glam or colourful, the white eyeshadow can be used in the inner corner and there are a few neutral shadows for as a base to start the look. I use these shadows regularly and they are long wearing and look super pretty and the shades are each different so you aren’t stuck with a palette with only a few colours.
Would definitely recommend!
I don’t understand the hype over this concealer, I was expecting more. I don’t like the sponge applicator, I just don’t think it blended it in well. I just feel this concealer doesn’t give much coverage, it’s like a sheer to medium coverage whereas I prefer a fuller coverage concealer. Plus this one creases under my eyes. There’s definitely better out there.
I love this lip gloss! I can’t remember what shade I have BUT they are super affordable and look really pretty on the lips! They apply very easily, the shade I got is a nice nude pink and looks stunning, very glossy and feels comfortable on the lips making them feel a little bit more moisturised. They do last quite well I find but have a little bit of a sticky feel. Would definitely recommend, I wore this at a wedding and this looked great.
Just opened my first glossybox for January and I quite like it.
I received a full size night cream worth £98 and it only cost £8 for my first box.
There were a couple things in the box I didn’t like that much such as the eyebrow shaped razors & the hair mask (I don’t use hair masks) but I guess it’s all personal preference on what you like. I loved the orange facial scrub it’s great honestly and smells lovely just like orange and there’s an eye liner too that I can’t wait to try. You also get exclusive offers from being a glossybox subscriber like discounts on makeup and skincare brands. Prmore...obably going to stick with this subscription!
I really don’t like this product. There isn’t a lot of product in the tube and the primer was hard to apply as it has a weird consistency to it. It doesn’t stay on the eyelid, it ends up moving on the eyelid so you can see it (looks like it’s not blended fully) and eyeshadow doesn’t look any different applied over the top, just looks less pigmented and it doesn’t last long + patchy. The only good thing is that it is a cheap primer but it doesn’t work well.
This cleanser is really nice. It really does clean the skin well after using a face wash, it has a nice feel to the skin, the cleanser is creamy and doesn’t irritate my skin which is great as I have sensitive skin. I feel it gets rid of excess oil and gets rid of any left over residue. My skin definitely feels soft after using and more moisturised. All I’d say is that I didn’t notice any difference to blackheads when I used this.
Used to use this all the time but I’ve now been intrigued by Mac’s strobe cream in pinklite.
But this is a great primer! I feels nice on the skin, the packaging is cute, blends in and dries easily and makeup just looks a lot more smoother on the skin with a subtle glow. I love it because it makes my foundation so much more long wearing and gives my skin a nice healthy glow, plus it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. My makeup doesn’t look as textured with this too and it doesn’t go patchy!
This spot gel is okay. It’s not expensive and you do get quite a bit of gel and it’s great for if you have somewhere you need to be the next day and you’ve broke out as it does reduce the size of the spot. The only thing is that I can’t wear it in the day because the gel dries down and flakes and it’ll flake your makeup which isn’t good so I can only use it at night. It is quite strong as well so I wouldn’t use too much gel on the spot, but it does what it says and it’s good for every now and then. It’s great for if nothing else works.
