I was totally drawn in by the marketing for this mascara. Bambi eyes - yes please! When I first tried it, I thought wow! It is very easy to use, one coat and you have beautiful, bold but fluttery lashes. It curls too which is a bonus. But I have only had it for <2 months and almost over night it has dried out and become useless. So clumpy and rubbish. Going back to trusty old MaxFactor False Lash Effect as a perfect all rounder.
I didn’t get on with this eye cream at all so I am glad it was a freebie when buying other Clinique products. The formula is quite greasy because it is lotion rather than a gel. I don't think it did much for my eye area apart from moisturise and I found it a bit stingy.
I liked this eye cream and it does what it says on the tin as far as refreshing tired eyes. However I wouldn’t say it has any anti-aging properties. It is nice and cooling when you put it on. It has a lovely texture and not a lot is needed. However I wasn’t wowed and don’t think I would buy again.
I love this pomade and it is my go to eyebrow product. It is the perfect texture, really creamy but pigmented so you don’t have to put too much pressure on to apply it. I have the shade ash brown and I apply it with the NYX dual ended brow brush. The best tip I was ever given was by the MUA at ABH. She said to take a bit of the product on your brush (and believe me only the tiniest bit is needed), close the lid and put the product on the lid. Then dip your brush in from here. This keeps the product from drying out. It really works. I have had mine for so long now and it barely looks like it hamore...s been used. I brush my brows upwards and outline using the product, then I fill in with tiny bush strokes before thoroughly brushing through my brows. I get quite a polished look with this and think I would need a lighter colour for a more natural look as it is quite difficult to do natural with such a pigmented product. My brows stay put all day. Fantastic!
The Radox bath soaks are such good value for money. I have the açai berry scent and clay version of the Detox range and it smells lovely. You get such a big bottle so it’s great value. The soak itself is quite thin but it creates lots of fluffy bubbles. Don’t get me wrong, there are much more luxurious bubble baths out there but because I am having quite a lot of baths at the moment, I have this in unless I get something from The White Company or Neom as a gift.
I bought this on Beauty Bay because of the price. It is the best beauty blender I have ever used and is such good value for money. It feels very similar to the Real Techniques sponge but is even cheaper. I find that it doesn’t absorb product and also lasts longer - it withstands many more washes. Whereas the Real Techniques one starts disintegrating, this one doesn’t at all. Makeup application is even and I will continue to keep buying these sponges.
I bought a mini Hoola to see what all the fuss was about and now I know! This product is a great shade for different skin tones, even for someone really fair like me. I had considered Hoola Light but after looking at them in store, I couldn’t see how the light version would work for me. I think the original Hoola works so well for many skin tones because it is buildable and really easy to blend. I apply it to my cheeks for contouring using the brush provided. It is the perfect shape! And then I blend out using the B. Blending brush. With it being matte, Hoola is great for bronzing and contourimore...ng in one. What a gem!
I bought this for holidays as a multi use primer and setting spray. The scent is nice, like rose water and it is very refreshing. I wouldn’t say it works as primer but it is great as a setting spray. So far I am enjoying this product.
