I bought this mascara because I liked the type of brush it came with but in reality I didn’t end up liking the product very much. It gives a very fluttery, natural look which is great if that is what you are looking for but I like a big impact mascara! The lengthening effect is good and lashes feel very soft but I found that it didn’t give the oomph I was looking for and it flakes quite a bit.
Everyone raves about the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and I had a Selfridges voucher so I decided to treat myself (£24 for a lipstick is steep in anyone’s book). The packing is gorgeous and to be honest that must be what you are paying for because the formula is no better than anything else I have tried. I got the shade Kidman’s Kiss which is a nice pink nude. But staying power isn’t great and it highlights any dry patches on the lips without proper prep. The smell was quite strong and all in all I just didn’t get on with it. But for anyone that does, the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker lipstmore...ick in the shade Rosy Chic Matte is pretty much identical in feel and colour to the CT Kidman’s Kiss.
I rarely write reviews for shower gels as they are much of a muchness for me. I usually just go for the scent and the ones on offer. I don’t like anything sweet or sickly and usually go for the refreshing ones. This is the best shower gel I have used. I have the seasamphire and watermint one. It feels so fresh and cleansing and the scent lasts on the skin afterwards 💙 The scent itself could be described as quite a masculine fragrance but I love it!
I tried this mask because I loved the detox mask in the range (the charcoal one) and after breaking out I thought this would be a good fit. It doesn’t apply or dry down like the detox mask, it applied much more streakily and patchy. You can’t tell when it’s completely dry and washing off leaves blue residue around the hair line and ears. My skin didn’t feel much different afterwards and it just didn’t pack a punch.
I bought this in the shade Antwerp and I’m really impressed. Application is easy and the colour is vivid. As this is more of a cream formulation, I feel like it doesn’t dry out lips however because of this it doesn’t last as long as some other liquid lipsticks.
This mascara is OK but I wasn’t blown away. I think that this is probably because of the hype. I like the shape of the wand and it was really good for curling lashes. The pigment is very intense and it separates lashes well. However I didn’t think it was very volumising which is a big negative for me and it made my lashes feel quite dry/ crispy with flaking experienced by the end of the day.
I have never tried the Sand & Sky pink clay mask due to the price tag so I cannot comment as to whether this product is a good dupe. However I was expecting good things none the less and I was disappointed. The texture and smell of the mask is lovely and it’s great that it comes with a little brush applicator. But for me that was it. As it dried it stung and felt very tight. After washing it off my skin was red and I broke out in spots. I must add that my skin is not usually sensitive to products. I really love the effect of my L’Oreal charcoal mask and think that I might look at others in thamore...t range.
