I've been pondering about reviewing this product for a long time, as I normally end up having mixed opinions when it comes to lipsticks and lip glosses. Mainly cause I end up licking my lipsticks by the end of the day. I took up nearly a month to try out this product before I claim that it's definitely worth a shot. I got this gloss in the shade Revoked which is kind of a nudish pink, which I felt might work well on top of my benefit lip tint. While swatching the product I felt that it did looked sheer as mentioned in their website, but while trying out on my lips it looked very pigmented thatmore... anything under would be easily covered up. The shade on it's own was too light for my liking, but when I applied it over my darker shade of revolution pro lip crayon, it balanced out well and looked good. For the price the quality is great, plus it's so pigmented that it can be used on it's own on the lips. Personally i'll go for a red shade next time.
After my disappointing experience with garnier bb cream I wasn't interested in trying out bb creams, but I gave this product a try anyways. This gosh bb cream comes in only three shades, the consistency is a bit runny but easily blendable. It's not a full coverage cream base, but good enough to make my skin look evenly toned. It's ingredients list looks very promising with soya seed oil known for evening out the skin tone. Plus has spf in it but it's not a high range one so can't step out without a proper sunscreen and it's suitable for all skin type. Overall for the price this is a decent drmore...ugstore bb cream to try out for sure.
I got this product as a gift and had no idea that there was a brand called ellis faas existed. I normally opt for red shades for my lips but this one was nude pink and I didn't have the confidence to pull out a nude colour. But true to it's name this milky lips felt very luscious while applying on my lips. The colour looks very pretty and very pigmented, so little goes a long way. For the price though I wouldn't opt for this product, I think I was lucky to have got a chance to try this one. But for someone who wants to invest in a great quality lipstick, this is a definitely worth trying.
I got a travel size version of this (I've been travelling a lot so ending up with mini size version of different products). This is supposedly a matte finish lip colour. But I was hesitant to try it at first, cause I'm not very good at applying a matte lip colour, especially while travelling by flights. But surprisingly this wasn't as matte as I thought this product would be. I really loved the colour ruby pop, as it suited my skin tone and stayed on for a long time frame. But I'm not very good with lipsticks so it easily wiped off so I had to go for a touch up in between but it didn't dry outmore... my lips. It didn't match up to my fav benefit tint one though, but it's a good one for the price.
I've always had a tug of war situations with these lush products. Some work and some don't but I've never been 100% impressed with their products. This is one such product. It's been a while since I've used it, so I'm digging deep into my memory lane and going to give a quick throwback review. This ayesha mask was the first ever product which I tried from lush and was pretty excited. Thinking back I don't remember exactly what the ingredients were. While the SA mentioned it's suitable for sensitive type skin, she clearly didn't know that it's not. The mask was easy to apply and had a very uniqmore...ue smell but it didn't do much to my skin. It was like as if I blended a DIY face pack. But a major con was that it caused some redness around my cheeks. It suited my mum though so it depends upon the skin type. Anyways I guess they've stopped the production of this mask so it's just going to be in my thoughts as a bad experience.
I got a sample set of this gloss, while purchasing the givenchy mascara for my mum. I guessed that I might end up giving this away to my mum, but I was so impressed with this that I ended using it all up. I had no prior idea what to expect from this gloss, plus I'm not a gloss person, but I really liked the quality of it. It's highly pigmented and did make my lips look plumped up, has a beautiful shine. The black rose oil did help my lips feel soft and smooth without causing it to chap. Will definitely recommend this for a high end glossy finish for lips.
I got a sample of this product at the point when my hormonal acne outbreak was reducing; leaving few marks on my skin, so I wanted to check if this product will make any difference. I was thrilled as I've heard very positive reviews regarding the product, so I didn't have a second thought to check the ingredients list before getting this one. But once I started applying apart from the fact that I didn't visibly see any improvement, I noticed that my skin had some tiny bumps forming up. That's when I checked that one of the key ingredient is Niacinamide, which didn't suit my acne type. Despite more...that downside I still kept on going ahead with the application of the product, still didn't get to see much of a difference. Guess it's not for my skin type.
After I got this product, it lasted for less than a month's time, so didn't get to see much difference on my skin after use. This has two versions; foam and gel, since the counter had a stock of the foam version alone. I ended up getting a sample size. The quality of the product is very basic, for the price I paid (even for the sample size) of this product, I feel it's very similar to Neutrogena Face washes. I prefer getting a drugstore version and get a better results. It felt it was like any regular cleanser.
I got this along with the three step blemish system from the same brand but all together I didn't find any huge difference. This is a milky textured serum which has a blend of ingredients that claims to reduce pigments on face. The smell was mild and not too artificial which I liked a lot in this product. Personally I used this product regularly for a month and half; but I didn't notice a huge difference after usage. I liked how quickly the product absorbed into my skin but I needed loads of patience to see the benefits plus it got over soon despite the huge package. Not worth the money spent more...though.
I couldn't wait long to write a review for this product. I'm a huge fan of liquid highlighters and nothing has come close to my fav Benefit 'Girl Meets Pearl' one. Thanks to @glamgeekclaire for introducing me to this beautiful highlighter. The product is smooth and shimmery enough to my liking; as I don't want to reflect out too much light, just enough to give a natural glow to my skin. Plus with that soft bristled brush which came along with the highlighter, evenly distributed the product. I was always skeptical about powder highlighter(I still am when it comes to some brands) as just the tinmore...iest amount can be too much on my skin; but thankfully I'm enjoying this product as it's suiting my skin tone very well.
