I am slowly but steadily trying to find out good concealers available out there for a reasonable price. I've started liking this product and it's second in line after maybelline's eraser concealer. The paint brush like applicator is very similar to LA pro concealer, so personally it's not a very easy option for applying concealers. But the texture is very light and just my fingers are enough to blend it into my skin. The ingredients are very interesting as well, it has many natural extracts like grape fruit juice, pomegranate juice and acai palm fruit juice which are all good for brighteningmore... the skin overtime so it's a huge thumbs up from me in the skincare benefits point of view. The coverage is medium to high and the shade luckily suited my skin tone. But I feel they could have come up with some more shades in this range. For the price it's definitely worth trying!!!
I got a sample before I went onto try the full sized version of this toner. This clearly corrective & brightening water; well true to it's name does give an impression of having a clear complexion from the first use, as it has illuminating minerals, that gives the subtle glow. But I was mostly looking out for the other main ingredients like activated vitamin C, liquorice root and white birch, which all combined together act as a good anti-oxidants plus gradually helps in clearing the skin. During a week's time that I got to try out this product, I liked that it sunk in and brightened my skin. more...These ingredients are effective but it does have alcohol in them, which wasn't mentioned in their website. It's common for many toners to have alcohol and this one didn't dry up my skin after toning. Since my skin could get flared up overtime, I didn't want to continue with the product. It could prove effective for someone who is very oily and needs a good toner that doesn't dry their skin,
I've been wanting to try out skincare with mushrooms included in them, so started off with this drugstore product. I've seen this in many korean skincare websites, but luckily boots stores were selling them as well. The main ingredient GF stands for 'Grifola Frondosa' is a type of mushroom, which is effective for hydrating the skin. Though the texture was a bit watery it sunk into my skin without leaving any greasy residue on my face and still moisturised my skin. But I couldn't go on more than a day because of the strong fragrance this serum has. It was as if I'm dipped into a bottle of perfmore...ume and I couldn't bear having the smell on my skin. A good product spoilt due to the high level of fragrance.
I got a sample of this product and since I didn't have much information about this one I checked online and got to know that this is a serum/day time moisturiser/ Sunscreen..well I suppose cause I noticed titanium dioxide mentioned in their ingredients list, but they weren't quite clear what's the third role this cream has. This 3 in 1 moisturiser is overall high in Vitamin C, plus it strongly smells of an orange peel. The three stars is for the brightening effect this had on my skin. While it didn't give my skin the upmost hydration or change my skin drastically, I didn't mind applying this omore...n my regular serum. The issue I had is overtime I noticed the cream was rolling off my skin if I used this in conjunction with other creams. I won't be buying this one..
When my skin started to breakout like mad, I wanted something to combat that issue. So when I came across this product at feelunique, I ordered a sample before jumping onto buying the actual product, since it has salicylic acid in it which I am a bit sceptical about. I recently tried this out and noticed it has a very interesting set of ingredients like rice powder, zinc, meadow foam extract, wild pansy.. I like the texture it wasn't heavy or creamy, it had a very buttery feel; even the colour was like a butter. The product glided on very easily and absorbed into my skin very well. The starchymore... ingredients prevented my skin from becoming oily. The effects were good they didn't cause any new breakouts and overall my skin was looking brighter. The biggest put off for me is the bad smell that this product has. I can't exactly point out how this smells like but it somehow reminds me of my granny's medicinal kit. While I appreciate it's not too much fragrancy but too stinky is equally bad, so if you are someone who likes a good smelling product, skip this one!!
I thought glow tonic would be my all time favourite toner, but this product definitely made me change that decision. I had to give break to all my aha and bha skincare products, as too much exfoliation can increase skin sensitivity. So I got back to just hydrating my skin. I got this in conjunction with their rose balm and cleanser, but I just loved this one out of the lot. It's very hydrating, refreshes the skin, retains the pH and gives that glow to skin overtime; without causing any sensitivity problems. This stands somewhere in between being a toner and essence and I'll definitely recommemore...nd this product to all skin types.
Thanks to @GlamGeekClaire for introducing me to this gem & I'm addicted to this product now. This pleasant smelling luxurious cleanser / mask worked like a magic on my skin. It's very surprising to see that a cleanser can make such a huge difference on the skin. The ingredients mentioned are rosehip, marula, coconut oils, which are all stuffs that I've heard before but a new term to me was the stem cell, which I feel is the game changer in this product. After doing some research I learnt that the stem cells can protect the skin from free radicals( which is another term I learnt in the process)more... and revive the skin, plus help in boosting collagen. I prefer to use this as a mask, which I highly recommend, if you want to get a spa like treatment. As a cleanser I felt it's too moisturising and I didn't get that feel of having a deeply cleansed skin. Since I've started using this product I noticed that my skin is looking brighter, plus my acne spots are fading away gradually.
I got this product when my skin was lacking it's moisture, due to my excessive travelling and I desperately wanted to get the suppleness back. Luckily this product did fulfil that for me. Though it's marketed as a "sculpting gel", it's more like a plumping and hydrating moisturiser, great for oily to combination skin. There's the dragon blood, pomegranate extract and collagen amongst it's list of ingredients, which grasped my attention more than the title. This gel cream is pumped out from the jar, in this way we can hygienically control how much product to use. The gel is very light and smellmore...s soo good, it wasn't irritating my sensitive nose. It's been a month since using this, I could visibly see my skin getting it's moisture back. I can't tell much about the sculpting bit as it's too soon for me to judge that, but the suppleness is definitely visible and on that basis i'll recommend this product.
I'm that person who is kinda scared of using bronzers. In dancer's term it's called "cutting", as in to cut the face for casting the shadow so that It'll look good in pictures. But I didn't want to go overboard with bronzers for a daily look. My friend suggested me this product and I decided to buy the travel size version. I'm loving this product it's very soft, no glitters, gives that warm undertone, good enough to catch the shadow, not looking too much. I love using this product around my hairline and under my chin. The texture is the best part that I love about this product as it's very easmore...y to blend into my skin and doesn't look like as if I'm having a patch of dirt on my face!!
I got this product in the shade 3w. I was super excited as I've tried their foundation before, so my expectations were pretty high. This fulfilled my expectations to a certain extent only. As a high end concealer this does have a very high coverage, a little product goes a long way and covered my blemishes well. The shade ranges are ok, they can include more shades. It's mentioned that it's weightless but I felt this concealer is a little dense on my skin and took a while to blend it in. There wasn't much crease resistance happening due to it's consistency. The drugstore product that matches tmore...his one and has better workable consistency for my skin type is the rimmel match perfect concealer. So i'll stick to the rimmel one next time.
