So I’ve been testing this duo this week - the pearly pink is a really lovely shade and two coats gives a pretty opaque finish. The iridescent glitter is also pretty but not much comes off the brush. The real test for me though is how long it lasts and how easy it is to remove - im a lazy gal so want something quick and easy. Like most glitters this took some rubbing with the remover and cotton pad and even after soaking it took a while so for this I’m not a fan. The polish however did not chip or wear off and it does look very girly and pretty. It’s ok but not my fave.
I received this in the shade ShowGlow which is a yellow gold based glitter. I’m not a fan of it as a highlighter - but as an eyeshadow topper it’s lovely! It adds that extra bling and brightness to your look with just a small amount.I’ve tried this as a highlighter alone, under and over powders & creams and it is just way too glittery. The wet jelly dries down quickly and is best applied with a sponge but it’s quite messy and once dry you’re left with noticible gold flecks of glitter across your cheek bones which is way too out there for me. It’s more “festival vibes” than every day.
This is such a pretty looking lip product and I was intrigued by the gold flecks in the one I was sent to test. It is moisturising but has a slip to it like a vaseline which I’m not that keen on. It does seem to last a while though but is no good under my lipstick. It just seems to slide everywhere 😩. There is also no scent to it whatsoever which to me is a little offputting - I’m a lip biter and not much matches up to my Carmex. I’m aftaid this one doesn’t pack the punch I was expecting.
I've been using this for nearly a week now and other than great smelling hair I haven’t noticed any difference in thickness or texture. I think, like others, Ill need longer to see the full effects. I find I don’t use the twenty drops it advises, more like 15. Like the cleanser, this oil smells incredible and really lasts. It comes with the dropper separately in the packaging which is good so you can be precise with the number of drops and it comes in a nice goid sized glass bottle. It doesn’t make your hair greasy or clump together. I like it but would begrudge paying the full retail price.
Im really not sure about the cleansing claims of this product but it definitely adds volume and texture and smells insane! I didn’t feel that it made my hair silky soft as usual but it created a nice lather and I guess the less steps the better. (I’m lazy when it comes to my hair!) I did feel like I used quite a lot though and I have shoulder length hair that isn’t very thick. It washed out easily but I had more of a struggle brushing my hair with my wet brush than I ever do. It smooths and reduces frizz and it is nice but I’m not convinced to use it every time I wash my hair 🤷🏻♀️
I have this in the shade Stunner and priced at around £25 I was a little like “how much!!” but oh my....what a highlighter!! This is so pretty and just a little dusted on the highpints of your cheekbones gives the most stunning glow. I love the golden cast of this shade and it contains some form of vanilla extract which smells sooooo good! It is long lasting as the name suggests and doesn’t cling to dry patches. It’s smooth, light in texture and not powdery at all. I’m obsessed 😍
A perfect eyeshadow stick to create a quick and easy eye look. It’s creamy and silky in texture and blends effortlessly. I have this in the shade pewter, which is a shimmery taupe. It works well alone or as a base shade. There doesn’t appear to be many shades in the range and the price is abit steep but I think it will last a while and it’s so creamy and easy to work with. Would be great for turning a day look into a soft glam night look with one sweep across the eye and it blends easily with your finger too. It doesn’t crease and stays on place. Easy to remove and looks so pretty. Big fan!
This is such a nice cleansing oil that leaves you skin feeling clean and silky soft. One pump is enough to remove none to every day makeup, maybe two for a heavier look. I like to rub this in circular motions and really work it into my skin then apply some warm water to create an emulsion. I then remove with a soft cloth. Its a really lovely product to use and doesn't leave an oily residue. This doesn't break me out and is fine to use every day. Some oil cleaners can be too heavy and over time clogs my pores and makes my skin too oily but this one doesn't. It also comes in a great portable size.
I am a complete novice when it comes to liner so anything gel like or jet black screams "complete fail" to me!! I think in the right hands this would be a great product but i'm just way too clumsy and do not have the steady hand you need for that perfect wing! Its very pigmented, goes on smooth and you do have some playing time with it. I've used it subtly on my top lid and smoked it out which looked nice. I also don't really suit a long winged out look so don't tend to reach for liner that often. A pen is much safer in my hands! A hefty price tag for such a beginner like me.
