I originally used the anti blemish moisturiser for my acne-prone skin but needed a bit more moisturising qualities! I have combination skin - a very oily t-zone but can get dermatitis and tight skin. The lotion version of this was far too rich for me, but this sinks straight into my skin and dries within a minute. It's nice and light, but gives me the moisture I need without making my t-zone worse.
I love how this looks when it first goes on. It gives a great coverage and blends very easily. However, I don't find it sets, and just slides off my face - by the afternoon it's pretty much gone. I do have oily/combination skin which doesn't help, I'd assume it might work better for those with dry skin. I purchased this several times before finally giving up on it, particularly as the bottles started leaking. Took one bottle back, but the replacement did the same.
I was expecting really good things from this after reading reviews on another site, but it's sadly not lived up to expectations. I guess that's understandable for something that claims to do more than one thing - prime and conceal - that it won't do either to perfection. The concealer only comes in two or three shades, I'm in between two so got the lightest. It goes on smoothly, I think it does extend the wear a bit too, and is great to put in your travel makeup bag, but don't expect it to be amazing!
I've been looking for ages for a primer that ticks all the boxes - doesn't cause a reaction to my sensitive skin, helps keep my makeup in place even with my oily t-zone, and blurs my uneven skin tone (large pores and small acne scars). It's not a miracle worker unfortunately but it does a pretty good job! I like it a lot. I might try Tom Ford next though...
I love this as it's easy to build and is shimmer-Free. For a daytime look I might just do a quick sweep, but can make a lovely blushed look for going out. It lasts for ages and comes in a range of colours to suit your skin tone.
NB: My review is based on the moisture surge CC cream (not on here, but I doubt there's much difference)
I have combination, problematic skin and love wearing this. It's great for when on holiday or working in an air-conditioned office. It applies like butter despite being oil free, gives a nice warm sheen and tones down redness/shadows.
My only criticism is it doesn't last long on my face but it's easy and nice to reapply so I don't mind!
I've got combination skin with acne and dermatitis, and have had real trouble finding a foundation that covers and stays put. This is fantastic. You do need to ensure you moisture and exfoliate, plus it pays to have a day or two a week without this to let your skin breathe.
With a good primer and powder, my makeup lasts all day - something I never thought would be possible with my to zone!
