I'm a little gutted that it recommends you only use this twice a week because it is such a beautiful formula and makes my skin feel so smooth. It soaks in quickly and feels velvety once absorbed. In the morning my t-zone is a little greasy from the extra moisture as I have a bit of a greasy forehead, but the rest of my face feels so good so I'm over it already! I've loved all my Beauty Pie products so far, and this is one of my faves!
So I got a mini version of this in my Glossy Box advent calendar and was really excited to try it. The application was fairly easy, it went on smoothly but if you want a really crisp line around your cupid's bow you might want to use a brush. It smells amazing, the pigmentation is great, and it is very comfortable on the lips, however it doesn't really dry, so it can smudge. I'd say staying power is alright, but I think this is only because I have a pink-toned red shade which can stain the lips a bit (in all products, not just this one), so a nude might not stay as long. Would buy again but nomore...t in a hurry! The Bourjois Velvet liquid lip colours are a great dupe!
So I'd recommend doing this without the rest of your make up on as you can't really do it without going outside of the lip line, but the effects are usually pretty good! Not massively long lasting but I believe this is due to me being a bit dehydrated a lot of the time, but my lipstick definitely goes on smoother afterwards.
I saw this on offer in Paris and thought I'd treat myself, otherwise it's a bit expensive. I have a nude shade (#100) which is a beautiful pink toned peachy nude. The packaging is classy and has a magnet to hold it shut. It glides on and is creamy, shiny and sheer, but does need a bit of reapplication during the day. I probably wouldn't repurchased as I expected better coverage for the price!
I bought this based on a YouTubers recommendation and am impressed. It lasts well and gives good, medium coverage. It must oxidise a little after application as it comes out a slightly paler colour, but the end result doesn't look the wrong colour for me. Would repurchase.
I'd never used a gel eyeliner before, but since having a lash lift I couldn't used a liquid liner brush as it was just going all over my lashes and I had no control over it. I found it a little tricky to get used to and had to try a couple of different brushes, but I am now getting a smooth wing with this product! Dropping a star as it's a bit tough to remove (a good thing I suppose!) but also because it dries fairly quickly and can be a bit tricky to adjust and apply on top of itself. This might just be me still getting used to it, but I would have no reservations in repurchasing!
Now granted I haven't tried any high end setting powders, but I love it and the friends I've recommended it to now love it as well. I thought I'd go cheap as I was fairly new to setting when I bought it, and actually, that quality is really good! It doesn't change the colour of the make up underneath and it seems to be lasting me quite well. Would definitely repurchase.
I thought that being an oil that this make up remover would remove mascara and eyeliner easily. I don't even wear waterproof mascara and this seems to struggle in breaking it down and I end up with bits in my eyes. Granted it doesn't leave me too greasy afterwards but it seems to just soak into the cotton pads and feels quite dry... I'd rather a micellar water that glides across my skin a bit more.
The smart shadows are really pigmented and the shimmery ones are so beautiful! I use a champagne coloured one for the highlight in the inner corner of my eye and on the brow bone. Would recommend this product, and Kiko as a brand, to anyone!
