I love this idea for weekends away, all your skincare in a neat carton. I thought the eye makeup remover performed really well and the under eye cream excellent. My makeup sat beautifully on the top of it and my under eyes looked better than they had in ages. The lip contour cream is phenomenal and really comes into its own when layered under lipstick, the result being a beautiful, smooth, hydrated pout. The day cream was great and I enjoyed using it but was perhaps a little rich for my skin because as the day wore on my skin became quite oily. I love that these products are fragrance free.
My lips have been so dry. I mean drier than a crisp, more arid than the desert. I have tried exfoliating them and still they looked terrible. After ONE treatment all signs of dryness were gone. ONE treatment did that! I really like the texture and feel of this product, lipsticks sit beautifully on top of it. I have only been using this for a few days so I can’t testify to seeing huge differences in terms of lip volume, but I do believe my lip line appears more defined and fines look plumped out. I will be recommending this to anyone who is looking for a serious lip treatment. Pricey but great.
I purchased this from Superdrug for a bargain £6.95 while it was on sale, usually retails for around a tenner. It has a great bone shade, a couple of great transitions and some great deeper mattes, not a huge fan of the two shimmers, there’s nothing wrong with how they perform it’s just a personal shade choice. These shadows blend beautifully, they have a great texture and last all day. I tend to use this in conjunction with the zoeva nude spectrum pallette and I love the combo. If you are looking for an in expensive neutral matte pallette then you would be hard pushed to find better.
Becca’s shimmering skin perfector *pressed in moonstone is without question the best highlighting product I have ever used. Easy to apply, it melts into and meshes with the skin so beautifully. It is in no way glittery. Doesn’t emphasise texture. Can be used as an everyday highlight or built up to pack more of a punch for more of an evening/glam look. If you want a high performing highlight look no further. It is the Rolls Royce, the Champagne of highlighting formulas, that leaves it competitors looking more Robin reliant’s and lambrini in comparison 😉
I adore this product. I purchased it in the shade light. A full coverage foundation that can be built up or sheered out depending on your preference. It has SPF 50 so negates the additional sunscreen step in your routine. It is hydrating and glowy on the skin but wears/lasts really well. It doesn’t cake or break up on the skin it minimises the texture/ appearance of pores on my skin even without a primer and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It is undetectable on the skin. Your skin but SO much better. If you worship at the alter of radiant, beautiful, even skin then I advise that you try this ❤more...️
I love a chemical exfoliant. And since discovering them I would never be without one as they have done wonders to the appearance of my skin. As a pixi glow tonic devotee I thought I would give the ordinary’s version a go, it is no frills but affective and I tend to use this in between using my glow tonic. It keeps my skin looking fresh, clear and glowing and have been asked on more than one occasion if I have been for a facial. Which is a win in my book. Good solid product and at less that half the price of glow tonic a wallet friendly addition to my skin care regimen
I purchased this in the much hyped shade White Russian and it didn’t disappoint. It is a beautiful nude with the cooling, minty plumping effect synonymous with buxom products. It lasts well and provides a nice glossy sheen to the lips. It is in no way sticky. At £15 it’s not the cheapest option but if you are looking for a high performing gloss, I think it’s worth the splurge if you are in the market to treat yourself based on it’s staying power alone. Compared to other lip glosses I own I bet I reapply them 2 to 3 times more often therefore making buxom more cost effective in the long run
If you are looking for an affordable medium coverage foundation then this is really good. It doesn’t sit on the skin and it showed no evidence of breaking up on the skin. It isn’t the most long wearing but for the price tag I wouldn’t complain. It possesses neither a dewy or matte finish, it meshes into and looks like skin. It didn’t highlight texture on my skin. For the money, I think it’s a solid performer with a good shade range. I purchased 1.1N and 2.0N and mixed together make my perfect shade in hindsight 1.2N might have been a better match but this way I have summer and winter covered
If you are looking for an affordable eye treatment then this is pretty good. I tend to use this in the mornings and a retinol in the evenings. It soothes, de puffs and smoothed the under eye in preparation for make up. Use only a small amount however; because use too much and it will pill and roll. If you check out the build up around the top of the bottle when it drys it will do the same to your under eye. It perks up the under eye area and does a good job a solid, affordable option
This is a nice cleanser it has made a visible difference to my skin. It’s deep pore cleaning with 5% glycolic acid (one of my favourite active ingredients). It gently exfoliates and as a result leave my skin looking clear and healthy. I use this in conjunction with pixi’s glow tonic. I have combo skin, if you have dry skin you may not adore it as much as us combo/ oily girls. But it’s still a lovely cleanser with a slightly herbal scent which I like.
