Once the light stops flashing and the product beeps, it is ready to use. - Divide your hair into 2 inch manageable sections, no larger than the width of the plates. - Take a section of hair and place Duet Style close to the roots, pausing for 3 seconds. - Glide down the hair towards the ends in a slow and steady pace. Repeat until dry and move onto the next section of hair, starting once again from the roots. - Once all your hair is completely dried, for an optional boost of shine, activate Shine Shot by pressing down the Shine Shot button for 4 seconds until you hear a beep (Shine Shot should only be used on dry hair.)
