I’m trying out a few different things as I’ve noticed my skin changing a fair bit as I go into my 30s. Clinique came recommended to me by a few people with sensitive skin, my own skin is sensitive and I suffer from eczema all over.
I bought this in the hope it would help rebalance my combination skin a bit and provide solid cleansing. After a month with this product I’ve had consistent breakouts on my cheeks, chin and forehead. I usually just get a couple of zits around my nose when it’s time of the month so this was new to me. Took me a while to figure out it was this product. It just doesn’t suit my skin at all. It lathers nicely, but it’s not for me. If you know Clinique suits you ordinarily I would say this is worth giving a go and make sure you’re using the one suited for your skin type.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, brown tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is black, asian with normal texture.
I cannot praise this liquid facial soap enough. I have oily combination skin and since I started using it, my face has become clearer than ever with minimal break outs. I wash my face both on mornings and nights, one pump is enough. This soap is very gentle, has a great balance and isn't harsh for the skin. Afterwards I feel that my skin is deeply cleaned but not dry at all, just fresh, soft and smooth. Most of the times I use their toner afterwards. I do travel a lot and sometimes the soap finishes, so I have to buy something else. I haven't found anything better, not even close. As I have oily skin a Clinique beautician suggested that I use their oily skin formula during the hot summer months and she was right.
I have been using this soap for 10 years and it has made a great contribution to my improved skin, it has solved my problem. I might try a different face cream every now and then, but I'll never change this soap!

I am in my mid 30's with dry, tanned tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is dark brown, asian with normal texture.
Step 1 of 3 in the suggested routine by Clinique.
I’m normally a huge fan of Clinique but this soap, which is essentially just a cleanser, was awful. I mean yes it cleaned my face and it didn’t smell bad or anything like that, but it was extremely drying.
I’ll use up the tube I have but I won’t be purchasing another one in a hurry that’s for sure!

i bought this with the recommended 3 step clinique process. Love the product. have to get used to the quantity being used as lil is a lot here.
Did dry out my face initially till i found a balance. the product is more suited for oily skin but works for normal skin as well, you just need to find that balance.
the only thing with me was that it is too expensive for me and after the first trial, did not buy it again. Will purchase it in the future and would definitely recommend to try.

I’m very on the fence with this product! The first time I used it I felt as if it stripped my face too much, but the second time wasn’t so bad. I was left with a very mild sensation of tightness but nothing too dramatic.
Personally I don’t think I would buy this again as I think there are better cleansers out there, but this would probably be great for more oily skins than I have which is combination

Works really well I use this after removing my make up for a second cleanse and it leaves my face feeling soft fresh and clean, it does not dry out my skin or feel tight

I am new to Clinique and was recommended the 3 step routine. I love this facial soap, it is kind and gentle on my sensitive areas yet really cleans my skin to perfection. I found it to be smoothing and non drying and my face didn't feel tight or over stripped of moisture at all, I love that it is unfragranced, even my daughter uses it. It removed my foundation and mascara with ease and I only need a small amount which means that it lasts well. It doesn't geoduck a massive foamy mess either which is a big plus as it rinses off easily too. £16.50 well spent.

This has been in all of our bathrooms for years. My husband has adult acne and this really helps keep his skin calm and clear. I have pretty normal skin and this works. My mother-in-law is 70 and has been using it for 45 years. It lasts forever and is a basic auto buy. I switch to a cleansing oil when my skin is more dry but this is a household basic must buy.

I brought this as advised by a Clinique beautician, at the same time as buying thirty anti-blemish solutions foundation. Whilst I love my foundation, this did nothing apart from dry my skin out. Definitely over priced I feel, and I didn't like the smell, it smelt very chemically. My skin looked dull and didn't feel soft at all.

Step 1 in our customized 3-step skin care system. Dermatologist-developed liquid soap cleanses gently yet thoroughly. The soft, non-drying lather loosens surface flakes, removes dirt and debris, and protects skin's natural moisture balance. Quick-rinsing formula leaves skin clean, comfortable, refreshed-never taut or dry. Preps skin for the exfoliating action of step 2, clarifying lotion. Our formulas: no parabens. No phthalates. No fragrance. Just happy skin. Our packaging: same great formula, now in more sustainable packaging. Bottle is 96% plant-derived plastic. Cap is 25% post-consumer recycled material. What does plant-derived plastic mean? It's made from an agricultural byproduct of processing sugarcane that would otherwise be discarded. What does post-consumer recycled (PCR) material mean? It's a material (such as a plastic water bottle) that's already been used and would otherwise have been thrown away. This reduces the creation of new plastic waste. How to recycle: this bottle is widely recyclable. R
