LOLA Make Up Matte Liquid Lipstick Love Collection

This was kindly gifted to me by Lola. It is the first liquid that I have tried. The doe foot applicator applies the right amount to the lips, giving both coverage and colour to the lips. The shape of the doe foot applicator also helps to line the lips before filling in and creates the perfect cupid’s bow. The liquid lipstick is not too runny or too thick, it is the right consistency to stay where it is applied. One coat gives enough coverage and doesn’t streak. Within a few seconds the lipstick is dry to a matte finish which is perfect for everyday wear, even if you are wearing jeans and a t-shirt. The lipstick doesn’t transfer to cups and glasses so there is no need to reapply throughout the day. My lips weren’t dried out by the formula they were nourished and hydrated, some matte bullet lipsticks have made my lips peel. This didn’t. It is easily removed using my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish with the muslin cloth. I didn't need to rub too hard to remove it.

Really impressed with the liquid lip from Lola, I have shade lust which is a deep red shade & I love how vibrant and vivid it leave my lips. Really creamy formula, dries well with no bleeding. Lasted well too. Loved the added Shea butter & jojoba oil which left my lips moisturised & hydrated. The colour itself is a bit more in your face than I am used to, I’d probably keep it for a night out shade, if they have these in nude shades I’ll be snapping them up!

I have one of these liquid lipsticks in the shade 01 First Date. The shade is nice, appeared darker than what I imagined based on the online swatches. It feels comfortable on the lips and doesn't feel like it is drying and cracking. My main issue is that it isn't long lasting and transfers quite quickly. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this on the lips while out as it doesn't feel as reliable as a large amount of other liquid lipsticks out there. If it was long lasting and transfer proof, with the same texture, it would be perfect!

I have this in the shade lust which is the deepest red available, it’s size looks very small but the product is a pay off so means you don’t need a lot a little goes along way. The colour itself is stunning I applied one coat and waited til it dried to add another! They pay off was insane! It didn’t feel drying it defiantly didn’t bleed and felt comfortable and light on the lip! I got compliments at the school picking my child up and asked what product it was! I will upload a makeup look with it shortly :)

I have the shade '004- Lust' which is a beautiful deep red. The pigmentation of this lipstick is faultless. Application was smooth, and it wasn't overly drying on the lips. However I did find it wasn't transfer proof, I did touch my lips after wearing this for easily 2 hours and it did transfer which is a shame. Because of this I think it will limit my use of this lipstick to my Instagram Makeup Creations, and not for wear on; a night out for e.g. as I like my mattes to stay in place all night long. Honestly, I was also very surprised by how small the lipstick is too, up til now the smallest liquid lipstick I owned was a Jeffree Star one and this lipstick is smaller than that. I'm someone who looks at value for money when reviewing products and I have to say that what you get for the price isn't for me. I personally wouldn't pay the money to restock this lipstick, because despite how beautiful it is, I feel the price is a touch too much for how little product you get. If the collection were all sold in a bundle as a minis set for a certain price I wouldn't mind the sizing of the product. Also if the product was to be made larger then I would be happy to pay the RRP.

These have a soft matte feel to it , very pigmented and it doesn’t dry out your lips . I love the colour I have which is the red one 💋. So beautiful. I would definitely buy again

This is one if the best matte lipsticks I've ever used. It's really soft when it goes on and not at all gloopy. It's super smooth and doesnt dry out the lips, or crack or crumble once applied. I have it in red and absolutely love the brightness of the colour and it's pretty long lasting. Would love to try the other colours in the range.
