So I've now used this product twice and I have found that for the price its OK. It does crease after a while but if you set it properly with baking powder it does last for a while longer. However, I have naturally hooded eyes so there's not a alot I can do to stop eyeshadow from creasing. Although its not a bit pot, its a good amount as you don't need loads everything you use it. For an affordable product it is OK.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, olive tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is blonde, processed with fine texture.
I got this in the white colour as it says that it brightens up eyeshadows but I think that the eyeshadows look the same brightness as it does when I don't use it. I also think it's bit pricey for how much product you get (I got it from superdrug £6) also no matter how much i put on or how I applied it my eyeshadow creased straight away (its doesn't matter which band of eyeshadow I used they all do the same). I wouldn't buy this again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to love this, but I couldn't. It was so oily, it literally slid around my eyelid! It didn't matter how I applied with a brush of my finger, it just did not want to stay where I wanted it too. My shadow, when applied over the base, creased like crazy, a real shame as I had such high hopes for this, but this is one NYX product I won't be rushing back to buy again.

I bought this nyx eye base(for just £3 on sale!!) along with the James Charles palette on look fantastic a little while ago. I wanted a good quality but low price eyeshadow primer that will smooth out my eyelids and make the eye shadows pop. For me this product ticked some of the boxes. I bought this in the white shade as it claimed to be able to “make bright colours more vibrant” and most of the shades in the James charles palette are bright and colourful so I thought this would be the perfect primer to use for it!🌈 so did it work? Yes! It also made the shadows blend a lot easier! However... I was soon disappointed a few hours later when I noticed that it made the eyeshadow crease a little which it wouldn’t usually do without this primer on. But for the very low price I can’t really complain🤷🏼♀️
Overall I think it’s a great primer but not to go underneath eyeshadow that you want to wear throughout the day as it will probably crease and not make it much more long lasting.

✨I bought this as an Eye Primer quite a while back before I had any sort of concept of what to expect from this type of product. I have the white version and it’s still sat at the back of my dressing table. The formula is way too thick, even when blending it out with a Beauty Blender. It doesn’t add any longevity to eye liner or eyeshadow and I still ended up with panda eyes. The only thing I did like was that it did make both matte and shimmer shadows more pigmented, but I would rather use a fixing spray to do this as you get better control and precision.

I really like this product. I feel it works really well when i create a cut crease and when i add shimmer/glitter to my lid, it makes it more intense since it being white. It does seem to crease but its not a big thing for me since i layer things over the top.

Well such a good price , lasts for ages as you only need a tiny amount, but unfortunately my eyeshadow still creases with this , yes it lasts all day but I can't stand the crease

I think this is a good eye shadow base or even on its own. It has a nice sparkle to it and i think that it makes the shadow look brighter and more opaque. when i word this, it lasted for a good few hours, however if you get sweaty or hot then it starts to fade the shadow.

Cannot complain about the price whatsoever but the product just doesnt work, I was quite disappointed because i love NYX for reasonable yet professional honest products. It sticks to the eyelid even when blended and about an hour or so after applying eyeshadow, creases begin to show and the eyelids look 'sweaty'. I would much rather pay a little more for a product i can trust.
